There seem to be a lot of naysayers about this LED light strip product. I think they’re full of it. First off, test BEFORE installing! And use a decent USB supply (mine came from an Amazon Kindle Fire tablet). Second, the connections ARE correct. As shipped, there is a female/female butt connector between the strips. It WILL come off and the extension cord DOES connect securely. Third, the adhesive is fine. Of course, your surface should be clean, but I mounted these on the sills of windows in my garage after just hand-brushing off some loose junk; didn't need cleaners. It stuck securely but not so strong that I couldn't reposition them. The whole thing worked fine even with direct sun on it and kept running for hours until I took a video at night. I plan on letting this run 24/7 (rainbow for now due to the COVID-19 pandemic and seasonal colors after that). Time will tell if these last, especially in summer temps.

Great light in a small package Under cabinet, back of the TV or wherever you want to stick these lights, they look great! Small form factor and sticky backs makes them easy to stick in many locations. Packaging recommends the the back of the TV as bias lights, and as they are USB powered, this only makes sense. However, with practically any USB charger, you can plug these into a stand wall outlet and put them anywhere else you'd like. Near the stove or the sink is definitely not a good idea, as the extra heat/humidity will make the sticky back fail pretty quick. Included are two couplers, one very short and one much longer, so that you can have several feet between the lights: handy if you want one strip down each side of your TV. The short coupler is so small that it is basically butting the two strips together. Remote is very easy to use. There is one button for each color and another for white, for the total of sixteen colors as the package says. On/Off, brightness +/- and then four effect buttons are the others. Effect wise, there is a little to be desired. 'Flash' switches between color, about 1 a second. Strobe does the same... only slower? This seems really weird. Fade, as the name implies does a slow fade from one color to the next, at about 1 per second. Smooth is roughly the same, but slightly faster. I don't think they are named appropriately. But they all function, so that's good! Overall, recommended if you're looking for small and effective sticky back LED lights on a USB!

This is a really nice product. I have installed several different LED cabinet lights and this one is so easy. None of the typical brackets and little pieces others require. I used the entire strip and it really looks great. The unit did not come with a USB power pack so I used a cell phone charger pack and it works great. Selection is easy with the remote. You can select Red, Blue, Green, and White or combinations of colors, shades, and patterns, fade, strobe or just a single color on. I highly recommend this product and will purchase at least another set for the other cabinet.

Hey Hey! Not sure if it's the fault of this product or the USB ports on my TV, but when off, these lights occasionally flash, like... every 15 seconds or so. (See attached photo.) Also, disappointed that they're not controllable from the otherwise apparently identical remote for some other LED strips from the same brand. If they were on the same frequency, I could use one remote for all my cool lights.

While it was very easy to use and very good-looking this caused my monitor severe ghosting (double images) and since I'm a digital artist by trade I essentially cannot use the product. Given that it has a USB connection one would assume it's for PC use, but apparently not. Because of how serious it was I cannot recommend the product, and would actually advise avoiding it.

These are decent quality led light strips, but they are NOT good for under cabinet lighting. The user manual and the packaging reference TV lighting. For ambience lighting these are great. These are not bright enough for under cabinet lighting, unless you only want ambience. The title of this product on the site should be updated to not say under cabinet, rather it should say tv ambience lighting

I bo7ght these to light up my coffee/wine bar area. They took only a few minutes to install. The colors are brilliant. The remote allows you to keep a constant light or fade, blink, slow blink. Highly recommend these.

when i plugged it in come to find out they wont adjust to any pattern or speed of the lights.you cant blend the lights or make them go into any patterns.this is the most basic LED lights.dont get this expecting to make the lights flash fast or any thing special.i wish i knew that. it doesnt specify anywhere about that on the package.these are nice for a slow light changing effect only. so even though that was a bummer i still gave it a positive thumbs up. just make sure thats what you want.
