Was easy to install and has better than expected light output. We’ll see how long it last, just installed it but they claim that it last years. Good for low ceilings too, doesn’t hang down but about 2.5”.

Easy to assemble. Love the pinch wiring connectors. Amount of dispersed light is absolutely phenomenal. I recommend this light to replace a 4 bulb standard assembly. The width of a one bulb assembly and less weight too. Love this technology.

Don't last long. wouldn't buy again.
I installed 8 of these fixtures. the first one quit within a month and I replaced it. over the past 18 months, 2 others have totally quit and a third one is 2/3 dead and 1/3 flashing. I'm planning to replace them with another fixture as they fail. So, 4 of the 10 I have installed or reinstalled have failed in 18 months

Good choice to upgrade to this LED strip from an older fluorescent or incandescent. You will be very pleased with the increased brightness. It is easily 3-4 times as bright. I've installed countless LED and non-LED fixtures in my time, and these are among the easiest to put up. The light/lens assembly clips onto the metal housing and looks good. My only 'complaint' is the connector supplied for the hot and neutral leads is supposed to be a quick-connect (push-in) but it doesn't always hold the wire ends securely. So, be very careful when inserting your wire ends that the connector grabs them as it should. That being said, this is a nice standard LED strip for any application. Also, to answer the novice installer questions, be aware this is a hard-wired (direct-wire) light, no wall plug included (although you could buy one separately and wire it in if you want it to plug into an outlet). It does not have its own switch, so you will need to connect it to a circuit that is already controlled with a wall switch.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I appreciate the military discount Home Depot offers and am really impressed with the quality of this product, so wanted to share my thoughts.
I used 2 of these to replace an 8 foot fluorescent and couldn't be happier with the quality of the product and appearance. I was able to link two of these together by wiring internally and still mount directly over the electrical box and looks very professional in appearance. I love that there are plenty of knockouts and enough space inside for wiring flexibility. The 4000K light is perfect...not too white (cold), and not too yellow (soft). These small and lightweight lights are as bright as the fluorescents, are instant-on with no warm up period (like the problem with the fluorescents), and will last a long time without bulbs to replace. I had bought another 8 foot led light from another retailer which was much less quality and too white and have since returned it. I'm much more satisfied with these 2 four footers linked together.

Installed 4 of these in my garage replacing the old T8 florescent fixtures.
They produce a lot of light, really lit up my 20' x 20' garage.
Except for making sure they were aligned and square they were easy to install.
Much easier than five Lithonia LED wraps I installed in another garage last year.
The CE's separate easier. Removing the lens from the base is really easy.
The lens and the base wires are connected with pull apart connectors on the wires so you end up with two pieces, the base and the lens.
This makes attaching the base to a ceiling followed by connecting and attaching the lens to the base an easy install.
You don't have to fight with the lens trying to mount the base, like you do with the Lithonia's.
For quality and value, these are hard to beat.
If installing over an electrical box, you want to get the CE cover plates for a clean install (see photo).......The Schneid, Feb 2019.
