The is the LED pole light you have been looking for, however the photocontroller on the top died after eight months of use in freeze, rain and snow. I had to order a couple new photocontrollers just in case. You need to look for a LONGJOIN PHOTOCONTROL Photo Cell Sensor JL-207C.

Purchased and had this light installed this light February of 2020 for our mountain house. Output was great, as was sensor. Light went out early August. Had the electrician that installed the light out to troubleshoot. Everything was in working order, electrician suspects it is burnt out. Emailed Home Depot regarding warranty (labelled as 5 years) but no contact back. Disappointing to say the least. Light was $269, install was $250, troubleshooting call was $150 and the light is still not working...

i ordered this light from light to run some tests on what light i am going to use on my 3rd generation light pole so in the short test mounted it 12 feet off the ground to check its reflected ground light and light quality and determine the height it should be installed based on reflected ground light so i found a the ideal mounting height to be 30 feet minimum the light is fully cut led light as long as its mounted flat and not at an angle. installation was easy i had little trouble this light preformed well one drawback is the paint color bronze which in the southern 2/3rds of the United Stated solar index for example in my home state black or dark colors attract heat and get really hot the darker the more the burn factor so best places to use this light is out of direct sun i i would recommend a white color or light gray color to reflect solar energy and make this and lights like it last more then a few years id like to see also 2700 k version and 3000 k version and motion sensor auto dimming feature

What an awesome light...18,000 lumens from a 150w LED...parking-lot capable, night outdoor activities, or just a really bright security light. This thing puts out a lot of light, so make sure it's not too much for the space you are using it in. It is a heavy fixture, and very solidly built. The light comes with two supplied mounting options, a slip fitter knuckle arm mounting, 2 3/8 in., already attached, and an extension arm mount, to use on square poles, round poles, or direct to wall installations. The instruction manual covers all scenarios completely, thank you, very good installation instructions. The light is set up for standard dusk-to-dawn automatic operation, but can be easily configured to basic on-off use. The photocell is a separate unit that can be replaced. Not sure if it's a universal type photocell, but the plugs look very similar to others I have used. The photocell is adjustable to north, and the manual includes instructions on how to do it.

Excellent light, industrial quality and unusually good documentation/instructions make this an outstanding product. My shop (46'x36') had a dark corner and it is now the brightest. Mounting was tricky as the lamp is designed for out side pole or sidewall mounting and with 16' high roof 6" purlins in the ideal mounting spot it took some doing but it works and really lights up the shop.

Very well built, straight forward installation, the brightness is unbelievable. I purchased this to replace an old halogen barn light and it exceeded my expectations. I chose to direct mount it to the wall surface rather than pole mounting it. All the hardware you need is in the box.
