These are excellent lights - easy to install and offer great versatility. The three light settings give bright, medium and soft lighting options. Some of the lights come with a very annoying 90-degree power supply cable. If you call the supplier (ETI Customer Service) and speak to Michael they will quickly send you the correct (straight) cable that makes installation SOOOO much easier. Newer inventory is apparently being forwarded to HD with the straight connection included. Recommended!!

I read reviews about the plug not running the right way along the fixture, but purchased anyway after reading the manufacturer’s responses that insisted the issue had been resolved. It has not (see photos). Additionally, the mounting brackets are not designed for this fixture, and they cannot slide over the switches. Its a shame since the unit has nice features, like changing intensity or color. Look elsewhere for under cabinet lighting.

I read so many descriptions online. I thought this one came with an adhesive magnetic strip so I could mount it under my cabinet. Since it does not, I went back and bought the wide magnetic roll, cut a strip and attached it to the back of the light. Then another piece on the cabinet. Waited and bit then mounted it. So far so good, doing what I wanted it to do - light the counter beneath my cabinets.

I bought one of these a few years ago and love it. Since then, they have changed their plug design so that it is now at a 90° angle facing upwards, forcing you to install it lower on the wall or directly into the bottom of your cabinet. I love my old one where the plug goes in straight and bought this to link the two, but I would have to reinstall the old light to make this work. It's not worth the trouble. The redesign is terrible.

This was an awesome bargain!!! Just an FYI I noticed this too but using a razor blade I cut the same groove out on the other side of plug end that goes into lamp and it works fine. Perfect size for where it was going Plenty bright on any setting or color

Nice sized light with two levels of output makes it great for use in the kitchen. An oddity is the mounting brackets. The brackets work for overhead or wall mounting. The overhead mount uses TINY screws that are long and protrude into the floor of the cabinet. The wall mount option can't work since the power cord (which plugs in only one way) is a right angle so there's no way to screw it to the wall. I ended up getting 3M Mount tape and sticking it up with that.

Next time I read the review before I buy How can such a simple product be so messed up? The product design will not allow installation as described in instructions because the power plug fits into the fixture and occupies the same space as the adjacent wall / ceiling the fixture mounts are to be screwed into In short, it don't fit Like other purchasers I used Velcro strips to mount the fixture, unfortunately the fixture is upside down In short It did not meet my expectations of reliable products

The light works OK but the power cord connection points up towards the mounting surface instead of down or sideways. This means that the cord will be in the way when the clips are connected under the cabinet, the power cord side will be lower than the other. Consider this before purchasing

I cut the power cords and spliced them into Newark/AVNET brand white, 4-way DEBOX junction boxes (stock number 68Y6087) for the wiring since the junction boxes are small, light, unobtrusive, and inexpensive ($2.27 per box).

These were not effective to install because the provided hardware was so junky. The first screw stripped almost right away. I drilled pilot holes to avoid that problem in the others, but when I went to “snap” the light into the brackets as instructed, both screw heads broke straight off. Ugh. Now I have to go back to Home Depot to find the right replacement screws and readjust where the light is on my cabinet. Should have sprung for a nicer option in retrospect.

Love these! So easy to install. I didn’t have issues with the mounting brackets like others have stated. I also hardwired them. The picture is of them on high at 4000k. Definitely wish I had ordered these sooner!

Excellent price, great lighting options, includes hardware required for mounting. I have several of these. I used one for a work bench that I made and have also installed them into closets that previously had no light. Excellent powerful light source. Makes a huge difference.

Great option for under cabinets. Being able to change color tone of light is awesome because the hood exhaust light is halogen and I am able to change color for closer match.

Recommend overall due to price/features, but one of the seven lights I bought has the high / low intensity rocker switch wired backwards (high is low and low is high) and one of the other lights sliding switch (to change the light color) is difficult to slide and feels like it may break. I do like the easy installation and the way they look with the adjustable color and intensity. We will see how long these last.

I bought 4 of these lights. 2 - 36 inch and 2 - 18 inch. I hard wired them to one light switch to the left of the sink. Ran 3 separate 14/3 electric lines. Cut off plug. Could put them on a dimmer switch? The photo shows them on 100% power and Daylight. Light in photo looks pink. iPhone X camera. My eyes do not see the pink in use. Cannot wait to put up backsplash. The way they come to mount was not acceptable. Heavy duty double sided tape was used to adhere them to the center underneath of cabinet.

I like the three light choices, it really does a nice job lighting up the cabinet I made.

Lights are great. Great variety of light to choose from. Screws for mounting are cheap, one broke, but easy to install. Highly recommended.

Good illumination and easy to install.

After evaluating the postioning of these lights i went with front lip facing light towards backsplash. The further from the backsplash the less shadow youll get off the tiles the tape is very strong as i used alcohol to clean both surfaces before applying just two of the lights i bought are flickering slightly

I installed 3 of these lights, and they weren’t very easy to install. The reason was that the area for the wire nuts/extra wire to be kept in wasn’t very big, and made it very hard to keep the wires and wire nuts contained. Otherwise, the light is great, and the rest of the install was very simple.

Great light and features of high and low illumination plus 3 different lumen levels. Wish it came in a hard wire version.

The light is great with shallow profile, selectable white light colors, and bright. However, the connectors for the undercabinet do not exist. You only get side connectors for a wall mount. Also the electrical connectors only fit on one end of the light although they provide a male to female adaptor. It does not fit on the end of the light. Also the wall electrical plug should be angled for concelment under the cabinet.

This is a great LED under cabinet light, and a very good value for the price. The only weakness is the poorly designed mounting brackets with tiny poor quality screws. This LED light has two brightness levels and 3 color temperature settings, which makes it pretty versatile for different installations. The 24 in length worked great for my providing light under my kitchen cabinets, replacing an old LED light. I set the light on the low setting at 3000K, and it produces plenty of light for under my cabinet, providing more light over a larger area than the old light I replaced. Two things to consider with this light. First, the power cord must attach on the right side of the light (when undermounted with the light element facing you). In my case, the power source was on the left, so I had to tuck the cord behind the light all the way to the right side. Not a big deal, but just be prepared for that. If you are linking multiple lights together, the included linking cord attaches to the left side of the light, and feeds power to the right side of the next light. I only needed a single light, but the linking feature is great for longer runs. Second, the plastic mounting brackets and screws are terrible. When I tried to mount one of the brackets with the tiny supplied screws, the screw head sheared off. I then tried pre-drilling a hole for the second screw and gently driving the screw, but the second screw head sheared off as well. I tried using the small screws for euro style hinges, but those were too large, preventing the clips from holding the light securely. I gave up on the clips and used hot glue to mount the light under my cabinet, which worked perfectly fine. The light has worked great so far and was a nice upgrade for my kitchen.

This small light works great under the upper kitchen cabinet. Installation was very easy and straight forward, just used the two clips that were in the package. The feature of having three light output levels and high and low settings for a total of 6 levels of light is nice. I do wish the on / off switch was a little larger; kind of difficult to find it sometimes.

This 24 inch LED under cabinet light works very well in my kitchen. I have tried other under cabinet lights but none work as well as this one! It is a plug in light and has a cord that is plenty long enough to reach my outlet. The light is also linkable where you can link lights right next to each other or you can use the supplied cord that lets you space the lights about 6 inches apart. The light has 3 settings, hi/low and off. You can even change the color of the light, 2700K, 3000K or 4000K. Installation was easy with 2 brackets that mount under your cabinet and then the light snaps in place. Very nice light!

This is a 250 lumen LED light using only 4 watts of electricity. It's compact and low profile. It snaps into place using the two included brackets and screws. It's great to have 3 choices for color temp-2700k(very warm white), 3000k(soft white) and 4000k(bright or cool white). It also has a low and high setting for brightness and comes with a cord so you can link more than one light together and only use one outlet. A good quality light at a great price.

Very nice under cabinet light fixture that lots will love. Planning on using for my grandsons desk below a shelf he has over the desk. Is a plug in fixture so you don't need any hardwire to install is two clip that you attach to wall or on like kitchen cabinet you can install to lib of cabinet, and for all the LED hatters who hate the 5000K "blue" color they think is all LED's you can change from warm to bright white (2700/3000/or4000K) very nice to have. Light output is equal to a 60 watt incandescent bulb. Great little light fixture and very quick to install

Wow! 3 color choices, 2 lighting levels, energy efficient, and easy to install -- all at a reasonable price. What’s not to like? The Commercial Electric 18 in. LED Under Cabinet Color Changing Light (Model # 54195201) has got it all. It’s a sleek, slim and lightweight LED - much smaller than a traditional fluorescent. At just 1.14” high it practically disappears under a cabinet, but provides a lot of light (500 lumens or approximately 50 “watts equivalent”). But it only uses 8 watts of energy. The “on” switch toggles between “Hi”, “Off”, and “Low”. And you can choose between three “colors” (warmth of the light) with just a simple slide switch: - 2700K Warm White - 3000K Soft White - 4000K Bright White This makes it excellent for a “multi-use” space, where you might want the warmer color on low for reading at night, but need bright white on high for doing detailed craft work, assembly, etc. It’s also available in 9”, 12”, 24”, and 36” lengths. It installs easily with two included plastic clips that screw to the wall or cabinet with supplied screws (and anchors, for drywall). Snap the unit into the clips, then plug one end of the power cable into the unit and the other end into an outlet. You're done! If you want to install multiple units, you have two approaches to choose from: 1) Plug one unit into a regular outlet with the 5’ power cable. Then connect the next unit via the provided 12” “linking cable”, or 2) Use the small “end-to-end” connector to attach the second fixture directly to the first with no gap between them. Both approaches are very easy, and all parts are included - nothing extra to purchase. Note: It’s less expensive to buy the 36” version if you need a single, long unit, but check the underside of your cabinets - it may fit better to have two smaller ones with the flexibility of the linking cable in between. Highly recommended whichever way you choose to do it! Note: It is NOT intended to be “hard wired” into a junction box. If that’s what you need, search Home Depot for “under cabinet light direct wire”.
