I bought these to replace an old set of wire strippers. Wow, what a difference. The markings for wire gauge sizes are clear and easy to read. Nice size grips. Best of all. they are sharp. Makes the job a whole lot quicker and easier.

A nice set of universal electrical pliers. Comfortable cushioned grip. As with normal stripping pliers you can strip all your average size wires. Also the addition of the bolt cutter and crimping tool means I no longer have to carry crimping pliers as well in my tool belt. Anything you can do to make your tool belt lighter at the end of the day is a good thing….They’re made of a nice quality steel and seems like they will hold up for quite a while. Overall a good investment for a good tool.

  • They work well, a spring return to open would make them better
  • April 21, 2014

They strip, cut, and crimp well. They are labeled well so you can strip a wire without cutting the conductors. A little stiff when new but they loosen up. A spring return to open them would make them perfect. Or a change in the grips to make it a little easier to one handed use to open.

Pros Lots of Features, Compact, Nice Design Cons could use a spring return to open

excellent wire stripper but rubber grips started slipping off when put under stress to crimp connectors...slipped the handles off and applied a little gorilla glue to the inside of handgrips and pushed them back on...problem solved..great tool for crimping and stripping...
