My 101 pound TV really strains it just against the wall. There’s no way I could pull the TV out all the way without it bending. The tilt mechanism sucks. No star or lock washers, only 4 tiny bolts. The tilt lever is spring-loaded, and must be PULLED OUT to reposition when tightening. Let it go and it slips back over a nut, and you can turn it again. Repeat until tight. If your TV is big, you’ll need to tighten ALL FOUR. A stupid idea for a mount designed for Huge TVs.

I bought this tv mount for my 65in tv. The lever that controls the tilt is not strong enough to support the weight of the tv so it is completely tilted down. I want my tv to be leveled not tilted down. No matter how many times I try and lock the lever it continues to tilt down

Overall a fairly decent TV mount but there is a couple things that bug me, first the mount hook landing where the TV sits on doesn't have a hard stop on it, it does have screws on the bottom that technically stops the tv from moving but should have a hard stop from keeping the tv from falling to the sides. Second, the retracting arms of the stand kinda get stuck and is a little hard to move freely. This stand does the job for what I need it to do but in my opinion there are other stands out there that are cheaper, more secure and have the same functions "if not better" than this one.

Since I purchased a larger television I needed a mount that could handle the new larger tv. This mount holds an LG 70 inch tv fine. I was able to fit the mount and drill into studs on each end. With the tilt motion feature please read the instructions on how the built-in tighten tool works. My tv is 62lbs so the tilt feature holds it in place at the correct angle. With a large tv you will need two people to place the tv onto the holding bracket. Very happy with this purchase. Giving 4 stars cause there are other mounts that are easier to install. But I needed one that day and this mount was available.

Yes it does support a 75in Samsung 90 series. I needed it fast and Home Depot came thru.

I mounted a 32 inch tv that weighs less than 20 pounds. This mount says it will work for a tv up to 60 pounds. No way. I followed the instructions to the letter. Step 10-adjusting the handle (setting tv tilt). The instructions say to turn the handle clockwise until it stops, pull out the handle and turn clockwise (basically working like a ratchet), push the handle back in, and turn the handle clockwise again to continue tightening. Repeat this process until the tv is secured tightly. I repeated as instructed warily. Every time the handle was tightened, the tv tilted down again unless my hand was there to hold it level. Obviously at some point threads will eventually strip. The tv never got tight and those threads stripped as expected. This should have been designed with a pin to lock instead of a single threaded screw to hold the weight upright. If you’re ok with a tv that will always be tilted as far down as it will go, this is fine. I wanted it level; but obviously I won’t have that now. If you want full motion, pay the extra price for a better brand. It will be worth it.

I used it to mount a 55" Sony to a brick fireplace. Probably overkill, but that's OK. This is a very heavy, solid, mount. It is completely assembled and comes with a huge assortment of fasteners and hardware, including lag screws and inserts for installation on brick/masonry and spacers and machine screws for your TV's VESA mounting holes. The swivel and tilt functions work well, and you can adjust the level of the TV a few degrees if the mount is not installed perfectly level. Very happy with the mount.

I was lucky to get studs at each end and with lag bolts(included) I could hang from this mount. It’s an easy install but recommend 2 ppl as it is way heavier than any flatscreen. All recommendations for tools is spot on. It’s infinitely adjustable and rock solid. I’d buy another when needed.

This is a very complete kit and installation is very easy.

STURDY!!! I have a 65 inch super heavy LG tv mounted with this. Not recommended I know but it still holds like a beast! Make sure you attach to a stud for heavier weight tv's

Couldn’t find any difference between it his product and the one offered by the big box store where I bought the tv, at twice the price. Installed for 65” easy to install across two studs and center. Ordered it for pickup while checking out with the tv, picked it up on the way home.

I've had several different wall mounts and for the price this is the best. Would be nice if there was a quick release plate to mount on the tv like some of the other models I've used had, but this works great for our 50"

This is one solid piece of equipment.The instructions were easy to follow. I mounted a 50inch and I am sure it's adequate.

Absolutely outstanding value. We did the TV downgrade dance and when our bedroom TV was moved to the guest room the existing mount was too small to hold the weight of the relocated TV. Checked online between Home Depot and another nearby big box store. Home Depot's price was nearly $40 lower than the other store and this mount was in stock. Got home, opened it up and was immediately impressed. The material was sturdy and the parts were packaged well. It's a single-stud mount so it's easy to mount and level. In fact, the manufacturer included a (small) level in the box. The mount also allows the TV to tilt from level to 15 degrees down in case you want to watch it while laying in bed (as we set up in our guest bedroom). Three nice lag bolts went easily into the stud after pilot holes were drilled. I did use a ratchet set to get them in. The bolts do have phillip's head openings in the end, but as another reviewer stated, not a great idea. If you can easily put the bolts into the stud with the screwdriver, your pilot holes are maybe too small or you're not actually hitting the stud. Anyway, I couldn't be happier with this. We spent four times this much for a very similar mount and now I feel that money was wasted. I might just go get another one while Home Depot has them in stock in case we ever want to mount another TV.

Bought this and 2 other Premium mounts from that yellow & blue electronics store. 1 was 3.5 times more expensive than this unit. I ended up returning those and liking this $79 Home Depot mount THE BEST! Some say the outer holes are a strict 16 inches maximum apart. Yes, they are maybe 16.25" maximum apart. I used this in brick over a chimney mantel (put 3 lag shield bolts 5/16 on top and 3 on bottom)…. SO, I didn't have the stud problem they mentioned (if your stud centers are SLIGTHLY more than 16 inches apart). If your studs are 16.5" (center-wise) apart to 17"... then YES this mount WON'T work for you (like some 1 star reviewers mention). Secondly, if you can't center this mount perfectly on your wall.. you might need a different mount that has holes that allow for 24 inches apart mounting.. with those.. you don't center the mount on a particular wall (evenly on both sides on your 16" apart studs).. but instead you off center it.. and then once the TV is on it.. you slide or swing the TV to one side to make the overall TV look more centered in the room.
