This 2 pack of low profile l.e.d. lights are nice and bright, very easy to install and the light piece itself is only 1-1/4 inches thick! Having a brightness of 1360 lumen and dimmable, it is nearly as bright as a 100-watt bulb, and brighter than a 75 watt bulb. To me it is as bright as a 100-watt bulb. With the low profile, light seems to spread out more throughout the room compared to my old fixture. I'm very happy with these lights. They are perfect for garages because of their low profile also. Estimated energy usage is $2.41 per year, and these lights will last up to 45 years depending on how many hours per day they are used. The l.e.d.'s are not replaceable, so you just get a new light fixture when this one goes out. The finish is a brushed nickel finish which is a popular style in today's homes.

Pros Easy to Assemble, Eco-Friendly, Looks Great, Very Bright Cons l.e.d. non-replaceable

The brushed nickel finish gives this unit a nice upscale look. The installation is pretty straight forward as you need to connect a long cross bracket to the electrical box with 2 screws, make appropriate electrical connections and then hook one end of the bracket to the actual light fixture and then secure the other end of the bracket with a single screw. The brush nickel cover snaps into place with 3 black metal snaps. I did notice a slight dimple on the finish of the cover at the location of the snaps. There are a single set of screws provided with 3 wire connectors. I recently installed a floodlight that had 3 different sizes of screws. I found that to be a nice bonus as it seems like depending on the age/abuse of an electrical box, you might have to scramble to find an appropriate screw for the application. I was considering using this in our bedroom to replace an older light fixture we had installed some time ago, but the spouse decided she preferred a ceiling fan instead. The more I look at this unit it seems to me like a better use for it would be in a kitchen or other common location that requires good lighting. We recently replaced huge fluorescent light fixtures in our kitchen with similar LED lighting. I would have no issues using these if I would have had them when we were changing things up. They have a good price point and would look very nice in most kitchens. Make sure to use proper care and shut off the power (breaker) when making the electrical connections.

Pros Nice Design, Easy Installation, upscale look Cons slight dimples on cover, only one size of screws provided

Well designed and built light fixture. Bought this two pack and took only about 30 minutes each to replace existing light fixtures in our bedrooms. Super easy installation. Nice idea to let you hook the light up while you are wiring it into the box! Works perfect (no buzzing or humming) with Lutron Diva C-L Dimmer Switch DVWCL-153PH-LA

bracket are pre drilled at wrong distance. had to alter holes. mounting screws are too short. while it is advertised at bright white, the lights are actually yellowish rather than white. the trim rings are dented where they put the mounting screws on. apparantly they over tightened them.

This is a good project package if you are in the process of changing your lights to led. Be aware though that they are not super bright. In fact they were a little too dim for the room I was going to put them in. The light they give off has a yellowish glow, similar to older incandescent bulbs, and its probably equal to a 60 watt bulb. If that is what you are looking for, these are a great deal! Installation is simple, as they come with a long bracket that allows you to hang the light and let it dangle while you are wiring them. The fixtures are very low profile, which is nice, and look great installed.

Pros Eco-Friendly, Looks Great, Nice Design, Well Made Cons a little dim

It's like I just installed an unnaturally white version of the sun in my hallway. I bought 4 to replace builder grade boob lights and will be returning them all. Not worth $5 per light, let alone $25.
