2nd time I've purchased this mount. First time for a ~40in TV (unknown weight) & this time for my 50in (~35lbs). The best thing about this mount is also the worst thing, it's cheap. This is the cheapest full motion mount I've found. 3 lags hold it securely to the wall keeping vertical movement in check but the connection between the TV mounting plate & wall plate arms is pretty minimal. Larger TVs can be a bit wobbly. Only two small screws in a radius slot keep the TV from rotating, so getting it perfectly level can be tough. The extension arms for VESA 300/400 sizes (my 50in is 400x200) can be a bit of a pain to figure out & the hole alignment isn't perfect. Don't tighten the screws down until they're all loosely threaded. The threads on the 2nd mount I purchased were poorly cut. I had to force the screws through but they made it in & tightened securely. There are cheaper mounts that aren't full motion, but the ability to pull the TV away from the wall makes it much easier to plug in cables. The tilt handle is convenient & fairly easy to use. There is an allen key included that fits the mounting bolts. The lag screws have a phillips cut for a screwdriver though I'd highly suggest having a 10mm or 3/8" socket handy unless you have Popeye forearms. All in all I would recommend this mount for a low/average priced flat screen. I doubt my cheapo 50in will fall off the wall but I'd probably be a tad nervous hanging a high end OLED or similarly expensive TV on this mount. Cheers

Mounts really strong into the wall and in studs. Great swival action and moves away from the wall as well. The mount came with great size bolts and screws that really secure it to the wall. Perfect product. I'm using it with a 55" oled LG 2018 TV. I have had it mounted for one month and no issues. This is the best wall mount I've purchased over the years.

This product is very easy to install and also very strong. I installed it to hold my 55 inch TV and supports it just fine with no problems at all. I can now turn this large TV mounted on my wall in almost any direction that I want. The Full Motion with the swivel allow you to turn the TV 180 o you can also tilt the TV and your TV can also be extended from the wall which allows you to reach all the connection on the back of the TV.

Bought this and 2 other Premium mounts from that yellow & blue electronics store. 1 was 3.5 times more expensive than this unit. I ended up returning those and liking this $79 Home Depot mount THE BEST! Some say the outer holes are a strict 16 inches maximum apart. Yes, they are maybe 16.25" maximum apart. I used this in brick over a chimney mantel (put 3 lag shield bolts 5/16 on top and 3 on bottom)…. SO, I didn't have the stud problem they mentioned (if your stud centers are SLIGTHLY more than 16 inches apart). If your studs are 16.5" (center-wise) apart to 17"... then YES this mount WON'T work for you (like some 1 star reviewers mention). Secondly, if you can't center this mount perfectly on your wall.. you might need a different mount that has holes that allow for 24 inches apart mounting.. with those.. you don't center the mount on a particular wall (evenly on both sides on your 16" apart studs).. but instead you off center it.. and then once the TV is on it.. you slide or swing the TV to one side to make the overall TV look more centered in the room.

Got a new 32 smart TV for Christmas. Went on the internet to find a good wall mount bracket. Have used lesser featured versions of the same brand in the past. Decided to upgrade to the Full Motion TV Wall Mount for 12 in. - 37 in. I was pleased to find that Home Depot had several in stick. Moreover, I was so pleased with the quality that I purchase a second unit just to have it on had for another TV. Boy what a great decision. This model allowed me to extend the TV away from the wall - to make all my connections - then fold it back until the back of the set touches the wall. Please note the hinge point does offset the center of the TV about 6" from the center line of the bracket ... when folded back against the wall. This was good for me because the offset actually centered my left to right viewing angle. However, If you want NO offset you might want to consider upgrading to the double hinge model. That model can fold straight back to the wall. The full motion model was a particularly nice choice because I mounted my TV 7 ft above floor line. So it is more comfortable to watch TV while laying in bed. This height makes hanging the TV a bit more difficult. However, the hinge motion plus the slotted bracket TV connection makes a difficult hanging job much easier. Another nice feature is the generous package of hardware that allows fastening to a wide variety of TV's. In my case I had to use the smallest diameter machine screws in the package. It seems a Samsung has lightened their TVs to the point the mounting screw are tiny. Bottom line it came with all the hardware to mount my TV and many others. The folding motion is snug so the TV stays in place; yet the motion is very smooth. The full 15 degree tilt was perfect for my viewing angle. Hope this helps other people. Wild Man

Read the instructions fully first before starting. After that, it's a breeze to install. I put the top bolt in first, leveled it, and drilled my second hole and then the last. The video shows two people putting their T.V. on, but I'm by myself and installed this in my bedroom to keep the kittens from climbing on my T.V. and scratching it. Normally I would center my T.V. down the wall, but I'm not taking any chances. I have a 42" and it was easy for me to get it up on the mount and put the final screws in. I needed the full range because of where my T.V. and bed are. As far as the price. It could be a better value, though. Next is to hide the cords from the kittens.

  • Solid mount

I used it to mount a 55" Sony to a brick fireplace. Probably overkill, but that's OK. This is a very heavy, solid, mount. It is completely assembled and comes with a huge assortment of fasteners and hardware, including lag screws and inserts for installation on brick/masonry and spacers and machine screws for your TV's VESA mounting holes. The swivel and tilt functions work well, and you can adjust the level of the TV a few degrees if the mount is not installed perfectly level. Very happy with the mount.

Purchased this mount as i had bad luck with a different mount from another retailer. I liked the 1 stud option. Installing the mount to the wall studs was easy. Setting up the backing was easy as well. Instructions are clear. The only hard part was at the very end was to set the tilt the way i wanted it. But i figured that out.
