Came packaged with care. Very healthy looking. Beautiful leaves. Wanted a plant that was not toxic to our cats or dog but still beautiful and whimsical. We bought two plants and had 8” planter pots and stands ready. These are indoors near a wall of windows. I may buy another for the front porch now. These plants or gorgeous.

The plant is equally beautiful from all angles as there is many leaves. The leaves are strong and reach upward on the main stem as they unroll and the plant has a graceful appearance. Care of this plant is easy, water every week or two, moderate to bright light suits it, but it is ok in a lower light situation. The simple white pot provided is plastic, but looks and feels like pottery. Packaging for delivery kept it safe from losing branches, not one damaged leaf.

This is the cutest plant. It came packaged so well and with such care. This nursery obviously takes great pride in their plants because this was extremely healthy even after being shipped in who knows what conditions. I'm very excited to put it in my office since it thrives in low indirect light and that is exactly what it will get. I look forward to many years of sharing space with this plant. Would definitely recommend plants from this nursery.

Costa Farms Bird's Nest Fern Plant in 6 in. White Cylinder Pot - These people ship beautiful, healthy, well nurtured plants. They ship the plants well protected in cardboard boxes and they arrive ready to display complete with a ceramic pot of appropriate size. The fern is lighter green in color and is complementary to my other plants. I would not hesitate to add Costa Farms grown plants to my indoor plants.

I love ferns and this Birds Nest Fern from Costa Farms is outstanding. Costa has such beautiful and healthy plants. This comes in a 6 inch White Cylinder Pot. As you can see from the photos it arrived healthy and with new fronds forming. Birds nest ferns grow well in filtered sunlight to a moderate amount of shade. Indoors best if it's in East or North facing window. They need a consistent amount of water but not soggy, and don't water in the middle of the plant, it would encourage mold and rot the middle of the nest. This is a nice plant to add to your collection of house plants!

This is an outstanding 6 inch bird's nest fern in a very stylish 2 tone ceramic pot. I really like the look of this fern. My wife has numerous ferns around the house and this is a great addition to her collections. I cannot say enough great things about how well Costa Farms delivers such outstanding plants to cold areas of the country during the wintertime. They all come well protected and when they arrive and unpacked they never have any dead or damaged foliage. This is a great looking and healthy fern to brighten our day.

This Bird's Nest Fern arrived in perfect condition. The leaves were spotless and the plant was very healthy...just like getting it from the nursery. The plant should be fairly easy to grow as long as it gets some light each day. It is nice to have such a plant in your room which seems to bring the outside to the inside during the cold winter. I look forward to having this plant brighten my days.

What a beautiful plant! I think it is really neat that the new leaves uncurl as they grow. When the plant arrived, it was a beautifully wrapped plant, the manufacturer took great care to make sure it was shipped without damage. This palm was well taken care of before it was shipped to me, it is very healthy. Which talks volumes about the manufacturer selling it! I would definitely have confidence in purchasing additional plants from this manufacturer. I am in love with my new plant! From the shipping and wrapping, the plant care, and the ceramic container, everything was up to my expectations and standards.

Costa Farms Birds Nest Fern I am pleasantly surprised, this birds nest fern is large (approx 15 in tall) and a very lush healthy green. The ceramic planer pot is 6inches in height & diameter, the words “Home Sweet Home are in brown on the bright white ceramic. This variety requires medium light, has not blooms or fragrance. Mature plants size can get up to approximately 16 in in height and 10 inches in width which is just about the size of my plant. The planter comes in a black planters pot but I always transfer into a ceramic pot, giving the roots a little more room. Be sure not to overwater as the roots don’t like being soggy, just test your soil by poking a finger in about an inch or so. They grow best in a sunny area but not in the direct sun. Great addition to anyones indoor plants garden!

This is a beautiful Ferns Nest plant from Costa Farms, they have the most healthy nice plants. They pack well and even included a heat pad since it was cold in my area. This is my first Birds Nest Fern. In researching how to care for it, you should not expose to direct sunlight, they like soil that’s loose and rich in organic matter with excellent drainage. They prefer a consistent amount of soil moisture, but they don’t do well sitting in soggy soil. Water whenever the top inch of soil is dry. Avoid watering directly into the center of the plant, as this can encourage mold growth and rot in the dense nest. Aim water at the soil to avoid wetting the fern's fronds. I have a habit of over watering so I will need to be aware of this so I don't over water. They like humidity and would do well in a bathroom or room where there is high humidity. This is a great addition to my collection of houseplants.

This Bird's Nest fern from Costa Farms is a keeper. The plant is healthy, with a visible network of roots showing through the top of the soil, meaning the root system is very well developed. The leaves are a bright green, and new growth is unfurling from the center of the plant. The pot is a two-tone ceramic in charcoal grey and white that will go with any room. This fern takes a consistent amount of water but won't be happy in soggy soil. Wait until the top inch of dirt is dry to add water. And because it loves a humid environment, it's a natural choice for bathrooms, as long as there is a window for light. This fern and pot combo will make a great gift. I love it too much to give it away, though!

The plant was wilted and looked awful when I got it. The weather was very cold and icy outside, so that could have something to do with the shape it was in. I contacted the store and received a full refund.

This is a really nice brids nest fern. Super healthy right out of the box and thriving in the window. It was shipped fast and packed well. The plant itself is very high quality and has grown a bit even since we got it. It comes in a basic growers pot so have a nice planter ready for it when you decide where it's going to go permanently. Definitely recommended

Should the box display the should not be turned upside down for all the soil come loose and scatter all over the box and tends to get in between the leaves

The plant looked mostly healthy when it arrived, but there were some discolored, and droopy, leaves. It has since become VERY droopy, and I’m pretty sure it’s dying. I’m emailing with Costa Farms right now, but they’re not very helpful. If they don’t do the right thing, I’m going to try to return the plant to Home Depot.
