I used the crates for a DIY coffee table, which turned out great . I fear that for this purpose the slabs may be too fragile because of the length. A normal crate may have been sturdier but would have made for a smaller table. All in all I'm pretty satisfied.

Ordered a bunch of these in different sizes for a DIY crate bookshelf and Media center. As I had multiple boxes, out of the 10 or so I only had 2 crates damageg, which were easily repaired with wood glue.
Shipping was quick, within a day or do of my ordering, boxes were sturdy enough to handle banging around, and as they came pre-boxed, the crates themselves were well matched, in great condition (I was pleasantly surprised as some other reviewers had less than savory experiences) and as a result there was only 1 or 2 I had to lightly sand to get the rough edges tamed. Mixes the sizes together and added strings of fairy lights to the crates for ambiance, mood lighting and visual effects. Am planning on replacing the battery operated lights with remote controlled ones with a timers so that they can be programmed to turn on/off as the mood strikes.
Overall, a 10, even with the 2 damaged crates. If you need some very affordable crates for a decorating project or for storage (blankets, kid's toys, dog toys, etc) these are the ticket. Can be stained, painted or left as they come.

I really want to like these crates, as they're the only ones I could find of this size. However, the side slats are of terrible quality - I've had to return my shipment twice (so far) to get crates that aren't broken in multiple places. The wood is so thin that the little staples split the slats in multiple places. One of my crates had multiple broken slats (both vertical and horizontal breaks). Several of the crates came complete with cobwebs, dead spiders, and long hairs stuck in the cobwebs. I don't know how these crates passed a QC process (provided "Crates & Pallet" checks for QC before shipping).

I used these crates on the top shelf of my closet as a way to make more shelves so I could store my purse collection. Worked great and looks good too!

Perfect size. I needed this size to store my shoes. The ones they sell at the store are wayyy too small, so I ordered these larger ones and turns out they were perfect size and as described.

I ordered 3 sets of 2 of these crates for a total of 6. 3 of them were great. The other 3 looked like they picked out the worst possible crates to fill an online order because they knew that they would never sell in store. Some boards were nailed crooked, some boards were cracked, and one was even broken and pieced back together! I needed them for a project right away so I kept them but would never order online again. I highly recommend that you go into the store to purchase these or order online to pick up in store so you can return the ones that are bad quality.
