Cree seems to be the standard in LED lighting. I've used Cree bulbs in all my household lamps and fixtures for the last five years.

Finally!!! A light bulb that looks good. The color of the light is actually bright white with a very small hint of yellow. I’ve tried 3500k, 2700k, 3000k and 2850k. What I’ve learned is that CRI is important also, not just the temperature. I tried bulbs who say they “reveal” colors and the actual color of the light from the bulb was PINK! This bulb finally delivers bright white light without any strange colors. Bright white is my usual go to for bulbs and these may be the best version. I hope they last as long as they advertise, some reviewers said they had short life. I’m not pleased by the cost of these bulbs but the cost seems to be justified when all the other ones have been subpar. So if you want a bulb that looks like a halogen and gives bright white, this is the one.

I haven't started using the bulbs yet, as I bought them as spares to have on hand to replace bulbs I'm using now, for when they (the bulbs presently in use) burn out. I was and am disappointed, though, that the Cree bulbs I recently bought were made in China, unlike years ago when Cree made its medium base bulbs at least--as opposed to candelabra base bulbs--in America. As well as being based here in the states. It seems like the Chinese made bulbs probably have an adequate quality level though, and they did arrive in excellent condition.

Awful buzzing sound
I tried both the A19 60W and 75W (2700 color) in my kitchen high hats. I was looking to replace another „less reliable „ brand of LED purchased at a big box discount store. The buzzing sound was immediately noticeable and annoying. I will not buy CREE again.

Good Quality
I've always had good luck with Cree LED bulbs. The high CRI provides more accurate colors and they're trouble-free.
