Perfect So Far
These bulbs have been perfect so far. I've used them for approximately one year at an average of 8 hours per day. That's already 2920 hours and none of them have burned out. Using only 9.5 watts each has already shown a reduction on my electricity bill. These bulbs are also assembled in the U.S.A. which I always try to support. Use the "Daylight" (5000K) if you want white light or use the "soft white" (2700K) if you want yellowish light.

Do not use in outdoor enclosed fixture!
These lights look nice, both overall shape and light output. They are pretty much indistinguishable from the 13 watt CFL spirals they replaced. Some of the glue holding the glass bulb onto the base has oozed out (feels like silicone), so I wouldn't leave them in direct view if aesthetics are a concern. I can't speak to their general longevity, but I can say that they do not last in outdoor enclosed fixtures. Two of the six bulbs burned out in less than a week. If you read the fine print, it says "Do not use in multi-bulb enclosed fixtures together with other bulb technologies...". It does NOT say not to use them individually in outdoor enclosed fixtures. In fact, is also says "Suitable for damp locations but not for use where exposed directly to weather or water.", which seems to imply that enclosed fixtures are preferable. I wonder if they didn't last due to the base getting fairly hot (way hotter than CFL bulbs get). If they last indoors for the guaranteed 10+ years, I will be happy. But my confidence level is pretty low at this point. Home Depot did replace the two bulbs, but the person incorrectly said that it says right on the package not to use in enclosed fixtures.

Got these on a Puget Sound Energy promo for less than half price. The quality of the light is much nicer than the CF bulbs they replaced. Uses less power, contains no mercury... sounds good to me! Will be interesting to see if they really last 25,000 hours... guess I will update my review in a decade or so :)

The outside of the bulb has a sticky coating to them and feels like it will collect dust. Tried using them in a ceiling fan light fixture but something inside them rattles and drives me nuts. Found another brand cheaper without the sticky coating and no rattle.

we have an off the grid cabin in northern NY state that relies on solar power with generator back-up. We installed other brand LED light bulbs which flickered. These bulbs do not flicker, they can dim and they are a soft light color just like the incandescent bulbs.
