I dice squash zucchini carrots and celery every couple days. What used to take me a very long time to food prep now takes me 5 to 10 minutes!

I had hand surgery this summer and was looking for an appliance to help me with my fall canning. I had so many pickles and relish to make I thought I would never get it done. This machine was an absolutely fantastic time and a hand saver. This made my job so easy, I used it for strawberry jam, home made ketchup and barbecue sauce.

While the unit came with far more attachments than I will ever use, i am very pleased with it so far. My first use was to make 120 jars of salsa for table toppers at our daughter's wedding. 5 bushels of tomatoes, dozens of a variety of peppers and heads of garlic all processed in short order. The larger capacity and power made short work of it all. The pulse option engages immediately and ceases immediately as well. The unit's components fit securely and feel durable. I make several hundred jars of salsa yearly and am looking forward to years of use with this product, only time will tell of its durability. If the unit lasts several years I will rate this 5 stars. For now i will give it 4 - but I am very pleased so far!

The Cuisinart Elemental 13-Cup 3-Speed Food Processor and Dicing Kit, Gunmetal is the best purchase I could have made! It is very versatile and well made. This food processor does nearly everything you could want. I researched all the major brands and their various models for over three weeks. Reading countless reviews, before deciding on the Cuisinart Elemental 13-Cup 3-Speed Food Processor and Dicing Kit, Gunmetal! Very glad I bought it! I feel I made the right decision! I really wanted a machine with a dicing feature. No matter the brand, many complain about them being hard to use and clean or wasting a lot of food. So I was very hesitate! I'm pleased to say, upon first use, I loved the dicer on my Cuisinart! I diced 6 medium potatoes with it. Stopping after three to clean the dicing grid with the provided tool. As per THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL's recommendations! It appears to me, many folks don't take the time to read through it or are illiterate! Yes, cleaning the grid took a little time to do, but it is still way faster than doing the dicing by hand! The diced potatoes where nearly all perfect in size and shape. With very little waste left over. Clean up afterwards was not too bad either. I used a skinny soft bristle brush to assist with cleaning. Let the machine do the work! The blades are super sharp so you don't need to push down on the pusher with any amount of force! All you need is to apply light, steady, even pressure on the pusher to assist in guiding the food through the feed tube! I have shredded both mozzarella and cheddar cheeses that turned out perfect! I have chopped pepperoni and made almond butter in the included small bowl, that both turned out great! I really like the small bowl, it saves time. And if you're careful you won't have to clean the large bowl underneath it, if you don't use it afterwards. Nice! I've also made pizza dough as well as, pepperoni and cheddar cheese spread. The dough and spread turned out fantastic. Everything blended together well, only stopping occasionally to scrape sides of bowl with included spatula. The adjustable slicing disc works terrific for potatoes, cucumbers, carrots etc. And it's very easy to adjust and use. The food processor motor is powerful enough to handle most anything and is average for noise level. The machine runs smoothly and doesn't shake or vibrate much at all. I like the suction cups on the bottom of based to help keep it in place. The included storage containers are awesome and very convenient! This food processor has nearly everything you could want. I plan on purchasing the spiralizer kit soon. And hope Cuisinart will come out with a dicing grid that makes larger sized cubes for this model! If you purchase this Cuisinart, I'm sure you'll be satisfied! It's a lot of bang for the buck! Plus, it's backed by a 3 year warranty, one of the best in the business!

I like my new food processor. It took me several weeks to decide which food processor to buy but, since I had already owned a Cuisinart, I decided to go with them again. This elemental 13 cup processor is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. It does take up a little bit of room on the counter but it’s worth it to me. I love the tool box. It is so nice to be able to wash the accessories and put them right back where they belong. The locking or safety system is a little confusing at first but I have figured it out. The machine feels sturdy and has worked perfectly. It actually chops and grated in no time. I love it and would buy it again.

After reviewing several models, I chose this one since it has the dicing component and the nice storage options for all the accessories. It doesn't disappoint! I've been very happy with this purchase.

It is great. I have grated cheese for home made pizzas and carrots for egg roll bowls. I cubed sweet potatoes for Southwest Skillet dinner. Chopped onions in a split second with no tears.

I am unhappy with the batter, food etc getting stuck under the blade.

It seems to work great, we've had it 2 months. My only criticism is that the small bowl (which is a GREAT addition), is hard to figure out and which blades work with it. Otherwise, it is a great time save, seems more sturdy than my previous processor. We've used the dicing disc and that also worked well.

Positives: This can do it all including dicing. Power and efficiency are better than expected. Blades and attachments are sharp and long lasting. All work as designed. Negative: I use often so it sits on the counter, I wish I had better storage location out of sight. This may be a problem for a-lot of people. You need a spot for three things; Machine and two utensil storage containers. Cleaning can be time consuming, no one loves this. The design has a lot of nooks and crannies that can only be rinsed and impossible to dry with a towel. Everything being clear this affects my impulsive behavior syndrome. But I think acceptable if you are in need of this type of machine.

The handle broke off the first day of using it. It broke off when we were putting it away (wasn’t dropped or anything).

I bought my 1st Cuisinart processor back in about 1980 and felt it was time to retire it. I bought Cuisinart again because of it's proven durability (40+ yrs) and reliability. I love my new processor! It's so eay to operate and the suction cup "feet" keep the base in place while using it. Sorry to say - but I do not miss my original one. It's in a good home as I gave it to my son.

I’ve only had my processor for a month but it work’s wonderfully! It fast and quiet. I love the slicer where I can pick different thickness.

Great so far. Never thought I needed a food processor but now realize how easy it makes many of everyday food prep. Did research and found this machine fit my needs, was the right price point, and fit my kitchen.

Dicing capability nice but can’t handle much food at a time. This model doesn’t seem as sturdy as my previous Cuisinart. Still, it’s nice to have one that works. My previous one died after several years of use.

Wow! Why did we wait 25 years to upgrade? This machine is amazing and everything is improved to make each action easier and more effective. I can't stop raving about it and keep finding new reasons to play with it.

I got the 13 cup food processor with dicing and spiraling. It is very powerful and does everything. It has been a lot of fun to experiment with the different options. The directions are essential to figure out which pieces of equipment to use. Buy only if you have a lot of storage space. (78 year-old female in Philly)

I love my new cuisinart. I made hummus and it blended it so smoothly and was so easy to clean.

Easy to put together and use, flexible and durable, fits under counter for storage, wish you could use the large container with just the cover, without all the feed tubes on top, like you can with the small container; made hummus, lemonade, and pizza dough so far

Love mine!! Food prep and canning are so much easier now.

It works great as a slicing and shredding machine. I haven't used the dicing attachment yet.

I had the precursor to this food processor for 33 years before my workbowl finally died. As that version had been discontinued, I had no choice but to get a new one. This one stopped working properly after 5 uses. Very disappointed in their new version and I do not recommend it, especially since it is $100 more than the old version was, even 3 years ago
