We like the hopper option on this but are not impressed with the grind at all. It flakes the coffee instead of grinding, and there’s 0 way not to make a mess when going to take coffee out to use. Does it grind coffee? Yes. Is it worth the price? No.

After using this canoical burr grinder for a month -- it's love. It has done everything I wanted. The grind itself is very consistent -- I find very little coarse grinds in my espresso when using this. It also provides ample (18 "sccops") volume to grind enough for a couple days for both me and my wife, so we only have to run the grind once while the kids are awake and can expect fresh espresso whenever I want/need it. If I get a half pound of coffee I can load it into the hopper, grind a full batch and the rest stores in grinder. It's also really easy to alter the grind coarsned, with a satisfying "click" letting me know it moved. I see a real difference in the grind with each setting. It also "feels" very well made and durable, although I've only used it for a month -- hopefully it will do well enough to hold up for 10+ years like my last one did

Lasted 3 months grinding 1 pot of coffee a day. Sent in photo of cord cut off to get replacement it is now 3 weeks later so bought another brand.

This burr grinder is a workhorse, and one of the best one's out there...

It is easy to use and not messy. I like that store the beans on top and the options of grinding is not complicated to change. It grinds in a push of a button. I did also use the customer service and they are great.

I love this grinder! The settings give me nice coffee to use in a variety of ways: French press, aero press, pour over, and moka pot. My husband got this for me for my birthday and I cried because I had previously been using a hand grinder (great for the vintage looks but hard on the hands). This is so quick and easy and makes my coffee routine so enjoyable.

Cuisinart DBM-8 Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill has definite disadvantages in the field, and we wanted to bring a major problem to your attention. We find that it grinds coffee with adjustable grind sizes, as advertised. Reasonably priced. However, the on off switch very sensitive. The major problem is that over time, your ground coffee makes its way in to the housing of the grinder, eventually putting so much pressure on the sensitive switch that it renders the grinder inoperable. In my humble opinion, it should be recalled. When the grinds completely fill the housing, it seems as though the heat and/or electrical connection would possibly make this product a fire hazard. I shared my deconstructed photos of the product, filled with coffee grounds to the service department of Cuisinart (Actually Conair), and they expressed no interest. I never appreciated the control design, superb, durable engineering and consistently excellent results of my Cuisinart Burr until I used my brothers ‘national brand’, ‘household name’, cheap plastic burr joke! Lucky me.

Almost perfect. I love being able to grind my own coffee. This is simple, well made and holds a fill bag. BUT, the plastic grounds holder has a poor design allowing the bottom to easily crack when re-inserting the tray. Mine is cracked and I don't think that I should have to pay to fix it. Please ask engineering to redesign this and make the base solid.

Wonderful! Multiple choices for type & quantity of grinds makes this a perfect piece of equipment to prepare your cup of coffee in the morning. Love it

I wish the power cord was longer. Other than that, it's a powerful grinder with a nice footprint. All grinders are messy and noisy so I don't find either of those worth mentioning. I replaced a 10 yr old caprese and I have no complaints other than good coffee beans are pricey, but worth it!

I feel like this burr grinder provides a better tasting grind over my old blade grinder.

I've been using this grinder for going on 4 years now so I've put it through quite a bit of work. I've probably put over 40 pounds of beans in the machine over that time and I have the following thoughts: - It's a burr grinder which is what you want in a grinder - Even though it's a burr grinder, you will find inconsistencies in the ground beans. I find lumps in mine which if you shake the plastic container, they break up, so it's not a huge deal, just don't expect perfection in this price range. - It's REALLY loud. Plain and simple. At 6 a.m. when I come downstairs to fire this thing up, it's brutal. - It's given me no problems performance wise over the 4 years of use. I still use it to this day and it works just as well as day 1. I would recommend this to someone just getting started in grinding your own beans, just be aware that it's loud, but it works.

The Cuisinart Supreme Grind is the perfect compliment for our new Cuisinart DDC-344 Stainless Steel Thermal Coffeemaker. Cuisinart’s DBM-8’s grind settings range from “extra-coarse” all the way down to “fine” as in an espresso “type” of grind, and a total of 18 settings. If you are a coffee aficionado you will enjoy your brew with fresh ground beans from Cuisinart’s DBM-8.

Besides it being a burr grinder vs blades, love the large capacity and how little mess is made with the Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill. I upgraded from a small grinder which was loud and always left a mess. This can grind more than a cup of beans at a time, and it goes directly into the lower unit. My only complaint is that the coursest grind setting, which I use for cold brew, seems to grind too finely compared to commercial coffee grinders. Still a vast improvement and I'm delighted with my purchase.

I love how this grinds. My only complaint is that when you take the lid off of where the ground coffee goes the grounds stuck to the bottom of the lid spill on the counter. I tap it while it’s still closed, but even flipping it carefully spills some coffee grounds. It’s not a big deal, but it would be better if that didn’t happen.

Because I've been happy with other Cuisinart products, I decided to purchase this burr grinder instead of a more costly brand and I'm so glad I did! Our Bunn coffeemaker works best with coarsely ground coffee, and I love that the burr grinder does such a great job grinding the fresh beans exactly the way we want them. I find this Cuisinart burr coffee grinder quieter than my old blade grinder (though it is grinding coffee beans--it's naturally going to make some noise!). I like the design of the grinder, too. The beans are in the top, the grinder is in the middle, and the freshly ground coffee goes right into the plastic cup on the bottom--no mess at all. And lastly, our coffee (to my surprise) really does taste so much better now that we grind it in this burr grinder. It is smoother and milder somehow, with no bitterness no matter how strong you decide to make it.

I choose to use a percolator at times and you need a course grind, this machine did it all so easy. The type of grind and exact amount for how many cups I choose in one touch. Perfect!

Works very well, easy to use and keep clean. Nice big dial for selecting grind size and large hopper for beans. I would recommend this grinder. The price is excellent and quality is excellent as compared to more expensive grinders

I like how I can select the consistency of the ☕️ and how many cups of coffee I need.

This grinder uses 140 watts of electricity. My bonavita kettle uses 1500 watts. So I can easily grind coffee every morning fresh for my pour over.

I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO PRE GROUND COFFEE ! BEAN TO CUP COFFEE IS THE ONLY WAY !

I did buy this a month ago and started off great but then it stop working after a couple of uses. We just put it back in the box and about to return it back to store

I ‘ve had the coffee grinder for over a month now. I love filling it with beans and grinding as needed. I fill reusable k-cups and have them ready to use.

I took my time deciding if I wanted to purchase a grinder or just stick with ground coffee. Once I received some bean coffee as a gift, I knew it was time to stop using my blender! I love cuisinart products and this was a great find compared to the other brands out their for the money.

My son had this coffee grinder at his house and we really liked it! Order one for ourselves too! Love that it’s so easy to use and can hold extra coffee in the container and keep it fresh. Would recommend this to anyone. Grinds well and evenly. The only down side is to have a place to store the spoon/brush somewhere securely on the machine. Would be an awesome feature to add! Thanks for a great product !

I bought this grinder to replace another brand that quit working. This grinder does a good job. However I do not like that the hopper twists around as part of the grind fine/course adjustment. It makes it not fit well in my space due to the size of the hopper. I would probably choose another grinder next time. Also, static electricity is a problem, so we have to grind the coffee several hours prior to needing it to reduce static.
