After trying bleach, vinegar, baking soda, and oxyclean to clean the white grout between the hexagon marble tile in the bathroom, this product finally worked. I used a toothbrush, tedious, but worth it. I dipped the toothbrush in the bottle and scrubbed about a 12 inch section each time at a diagonal both ways to get it to cover. Then wiped with a lightly damp paper towel to get the paint off and then a dry paper towel to make sure it didn’t streak. This worked beautifully.

Tedious… yes! But so worth it! My only concern is that I bought ‘Bone’ which looked as it would be a light tan/creamy off-white. I wanted a lighter stain, but, unfortunately, the color is more of a BRIGHT white. I was going to take it back and try the ‘Alabaster’ color, but that’s not available any longer. It still looks a million times better!

This product is amazing. Easy to use but tedious as the over paint next to the grout lines needs to be wiped clean after painting. I did one grout line at a time and then cleaned the overflow using wet wipes and that worked beautifully. This product saved a lot of money as I was getting to point of seriously getting new flooring as the grout was terribly stained due to dirt settling in the grout and staining . I found a soft bristle toothbrush with a bamboo handle at the Dollar Tree (recommended method of application) and it worked really well

We had just had new tile/grout done, but the grout was way too light. This product stained the grout to the desired color and it now looks perfect. It was incredibly easy to usesnd for $20, a disaster was averted.

First let me say that while this is very time consuming it is well worth it in my opinion. My daughter bought a house and the grout in the kids bathroom was horribly discolored. It was very stained and we had tried cleaning it with everything imaginable with hardly any change. So I bought this in bright white as their tiles were white. I cleaned it first as this was recommended. I used a very fine paintbrush and rubbed it in the grout lines. It came out great.

Moved into new house not sure how old grout was, but looked faded. Biggest pain is application but making sure it was applied and cleaned up properly was important. Figured out q-tips worked good, tried a tooth brush but seemed to be to messy.

The was one of my favorite home improvement projects. I used antique white. Two years later, and still going strong.

Excellent product! Covered our dark brown grout with 1 coat. I tried the roller bottle , it worked OK. But, a reusable ketchup bottle and toothbrush is the way to go! Quick and easy Completely transformed our Kitchen! It looks Beautiful now!

As others have said, the hardest part is finding the right color. The actual color is much lighter than what the color chart shows, and after trying several and noticing that each time, Linen turned out to be exactly the light creamy beige I wanted for the main living area of the house. For smaller areas like bathrooms, I wanted a more dramatic difference, and Bone, being more creamy white, was perfect. I applied with a child's soft toothbrush from the dollar store, doing about 6 squares at a time, and then wiping edges with a baby wipe. It's time consuming, but so worth it. My floors look brand new and amazing now!

As you can see I exchanged for lighter shade. Used to cover old grout that was beyond just cleaning. Easy to use, and results were a uniform shade.

This grout paint works great! Our 20-year-old grout was stained and always looked dirty no matter how much we cleaned them. This colorant is easy to apply and makes our counters look new again. We are very pleased with the results.

I wasn't sure that this product was going to work as I've tried so many others with limited results. It worked great! The only drawback was how time consuming this is to do a whole floor. The time consuming part is applying the product to the grout lines and getting full coverage. I found that using a small paint brush that was semi stiff worked best for me. I went back and forth on the grout to get it in. The end result was worth it. I sealed it after it dried and it still looks great.

Terribly expensive, no dispensing lid or cap, and a different color than shown on the label. I had to return it. It filled the grout line fairly thinly like a paint.

I bought every cleaning product I could find to remove grease stains from my backsplash. Nothing worked! I found this product and ordered Snow White for a light greige grout. Thinking better to start light. I added drops of black and brown paint to get the perfect shade. Now my backsplash looks like new for $14!!! Beyond happy. :-)

Wow. Just got my kitchen tiled and the grout looked way too light. Not what I wanted. Then I found this stuff! I used Delorean Gray and couldn’t be happier with the results. It takes a little time to get your technique down, and it is a tedious and long job but completely worth the time and effort. I added a pic of the old and new grout color before I finished the work so you can see the difference.

The product looks great as it colored and sealed old floor tile grout. The directions said to use a toothbrush for application but that was too messy so I used some tiny paintbrushes I had from the grandkids’ crafts. It was tedious and took me about 6 hours to do our 8’ bathroom floor. Then I did the second coat another day. Now I am very pleased with the results. Hope it holds up as others have noted.

I bought 2 bottles because I planned to do several large areas. I was quite liberal with the application. But it turned out I disnt even use an entire bottle. So the value is outstanding. We are getting ready to sell and I was concerned that the stained grout would be off putting to buyers. It would have cost thousands to replace the grout. But for $17, I was able to make my floors look brand new. It’s easy to use, low odor, and dries quickly. Highly recommend.

Perfect for what I needed. Originally our grout was arctic white and I wanted the pattern to have more “pop” and contrast so I used this with a small art brush and a microfiber cloth. When the job was done I used lemon essential oil on a cotton ball to remove any haze left behind.

I didn’t have high expectations for this $20 product. I had already bought tile to replace this flour because it always looks so gross. This is my kids bathroom and I have 2 boys I struggle to keep it decent. I scrubbed the grout a lot and it still looked super dirty it must be stained. I bought this and with just one coat it looks great! Advice is work in one line in one direction and remove quickly to avoid getting it on the tile. If you do get on the tile a wet magic eraser gets it off.

Super easy to apply. I am soo happy with it. It brightened everything. Not sure how long it'll last but hopeful

I learned about this product via Pinterest. I am super happy with the outcome. I purchased one bottle for about $20. It went a long way. I was able to do my kitchen, dining area, laundry room, walkway, two bathrooms, and still have some left over for touch ups as needed. When it comes to selecting the color, I’m glad I actually went to the store to see my color options. The color I was considering online was way whiter in person. I went with the bone color which matched the color on the bottle.

This product did an amazing job restoring stained and discolored grout. Seems to be very durable, too. Dries quickly, so make sure to wipe off excess as you go. Does a great job sealing the grout as well!

I bought this to fix the ugly, stained grout in our shower. It did take me several hours to complete. I used both a very small paintbrush(like you would paint a picture with) and a toothbrush to apply the product. I then wiped the excess off with paper towels. If it dried too fast and wouldn’t come off with the paper towel alone, I used a mixture of water and white vinegar. The shower looks great! Will be using a different color to fix the grout on our spa deck.

If the manufacturer had just added a spout type cap this product would be so much easier to use. Fortunately i had a cap that fit on the bottle on hand but i later i saw different manufacturers already figured that out!

I bought this for a job of mine. This item was so clumpy I could barely get any product out of it. It seems like it was sitting on a shelf for a long time.

I never knew this product existed….. I came looking for grout, needing to regrout my stained kitchen floor tile. This product worked amazingly well and easy to apply with only a small artist paint brush and a damp sponge to wipe away any excess that got in the tile. The fumes were not bad and I finished my whole kitchen, laundry and breakfast nook in about 4 hrs. I actually used traded “Bone” for “Haystack” for a better match. It took less than half the bottle so don’t let the price scare you. Up next, bathrooms!

Very easy to use. Drys pretty fast. I used a toothbrush for the first coat. Then used a hard bristle paint brush for the second coat. I got tired of my floors looking dirty from the dark grout. No matter how much I scrubbed. This product has helped me get my floors looking great!!! I used the color BONE.

This stain (paint) works great. I stained the white grout on my kitchen floors grey, it came out perfect. I highly recommend watching a tutorial video on how to apply the product. If you have porcelain or ceramic tile, you don’t have to worry about getting stain on the tile. Apply the stain to a medium sized area. Let it dry 30 min, then use a spray bottle to mist the area. Get a good nylon scrub pad and start scrubbing. Stain comes off the tile but stays in the grout. Easy.

The former owners of my house used yellow grout with white subway tile when they remodeled, and I wanted to fix the hideousness- this worked great! Since I was going from a dark yellow to Arctic White, it did take two coats, but was overall super easy. I found the fastest way to avoid lengthy cleanup was to quickly wipe over the tiles with a damp paper towel immediately after application USING A FLAT HAND so it doesn't take out any of the grout colorant.
