Great grout for small format wall tile. Color is consistent and no chunks.

This grout was posted on the home depot site with the safari glacier tile I had bought and it was not the same color on the box as well as the site. It's much lighter. I wanted the color on the box but it was not the same. The color that it ended up is fine but I preferred the darker.

The Delorean Gray grout looks so good with the more intricate tile design that we used. Unlike white grout which would just kind of blend into the design, the gray makes it look more impactful and creates an upscale atmosphere. It's also easier to clean, as white ground does not stay white in the bathroom! The color was seamless and the texture was smooth. Very happy with it.

I’ve ised Custom Building Products grout before with great success. But what I used had the number and color of the grout prominently displayed on the box. Neither box I received for my newest project indicates #546 Cape Gray. Just some hand written numbers and a sticker with a seemingly irrelevant code. Leaves one to question. Hope it’s the right grout.

We used this to grout a glass tile backsplash, intending it to closely match the color of the tile. However, the “pewter” grout color was THREE SHADES lighter than shown on the box & their sample sheet (see photos). This product ruined several hours of work & hundreds of dollars spent on our project, which ended up looking terrible. Now we have to spend even more time and money to stain the grout to the color it was supposed to be. Do not waste your money on this product.

My tile guy recommended this grout for my new shower tile. It looks great!

Works great. Easy to mix and apply. It even matches my old polyblend grout which is a bit grainy now.

Good stuff. Mixes easily applies well and cleans up. Nice for perfect grout joints.

The delorean gray grout way lighter than expected. Disappointed. You can see in the photo that the results are not matching the color displayed on the packaging.

So convenient for small projects, great price, will definitely buy again.

Really disappointed in the final outcome. Mixed it properly and did everything right but the color uniformity was terrible. I did two showers. One with this product and one with a premixed maipei grout. Night and day result. I would not risk a Portland cement based product.

I ordered this color special as its not an in-stock item and it totally disappionted. I was looking for a med tone not gray grout. This looked the same as the off white my contractor got for the shower. I wanted something darker for my flooring 😔.

Just completed a remodel of the bathrooms in our house that included all new tub and tile work, we used Custom Building Products polyblend Plus #381 bright white grout with white 4x12 subway tiles and it looks great. I have used this brand of grout for years and like the even color and durability it adds to my tile work, the grout is just as important as the tile work.

Blends well with new subway tile. Easy to work. Easy to clean off tile haze

for Travertine tile Light/sometimes called Ivory. I was having a very hard time choosing the perfect grout color for my Travertine backsplash, so I bought Custom Building Products grout stick set. Game changer... Seriously, just buy it! I also purchased Mapei grout stick set off Ebay and having the two sets of different colors helped me pinpoint the best color and that was Custom Building Products BONE. Initially, I had chosen Mapei BONE, but after I bought that grout stick set, that Bone color was too dark - for me. It's almost impossible to pick grout colors in a store under fluorescent lights and the grout sticks are hanging on a wall over your head? Impossible. Having the grout sets at home, in my kitchen made all the difference. The grout cleaned up pretty easy. I highly recommend vinegar water 50/50 water/vinegar. You can thank me later. I love the color.

The color of the grout is perfect with the “Bright White” tile that I also purchased from Home Depot. My contractor only uses this product when putting up backsplash tile.

This grout dried a lot lighter than the box color. And the color is not uniform at all. I read up on others' experience with this brand and color and supposedly too much wiping and/or drying too quickly results in this problem. Not sure how you wipe less AND completely clean the tops of the tiles. Can't say I would recommend this.

This product dried at a much lighter color then was advertised. I am unhappy with the color of the finishes product. Pictures are included.

First time using this, 1/8th inch gap between the tiles, so smooth and easy to work with. I do recommend you either have a stirring stick, or a small hand drill mixer, the suggested three minute mixing gets you a creamy paste. Add a little bit of water at a time, I didn’t measure but I think it was about a cup of water added slowly to the mix. DONT over do it. Otherwise it may slime out of your joints. I’d recommend this for the 1/8th gap with a glossy tile. Little to no chance of scratching.

Color of grout was much lighter then pictured on box. Not happy, but it is already installed. We feel the bag of grout inside the box must have been mixed up with a Rolling Fog gray color and placed in the Natural Gray box. Would not buy again. Contractor was even surprised at how light it dried.

I've used Polyblend Plus grout many times and the color has been accurate and mixed consistency spreads and fills gaps very well. However, this time the color was way off. It was supposed to be Delorean Grey, and it was more of a very, very light grey -- closer to white than grey. Based on experience I tend to mix a little longer than instructions in order to insure thorough mixing for color and consistent viscosity, which I did this time too. Fortunately it looks good, even though it was not what I wanted, and I do not plan to remove grout for the 90 sq feet I tiled and redo. After two coats of Sealer's Choice Gold, not even a little darker. I think I just got a bad or poorly mixed batch. No, I'm not happy about this, but will use Polyblend grout in the future as this was a one off, at least for me.

I got the Dorian grey and the color was perfect on the box and when it was mixed. As the grout dried it became an off white color. My tile depicts stone and the grout color on the box was a perfect match. Now i have remove or recolor it

Easy to mix, nice to apply. And color stayed true. I follow the directions and it performed admirably. I was a little afraid of the negative comments on here but it seemed like my only choice and it worked great.

I purchased the DeLirean Grey in-sanded for a new bathroom install. The color in the store display matched the tile perfectly. Once I mixed and put it down it looked great WHILE WET. But once it started to dry it is much lighter than the store sample and color swatch in the trifold. It actually looks more platinum. I have used Polyblend in the past in a kitchen floor in Haystack and the color was good. Just not this one.

Such a disappointment, color does match when applying but when dry it’s completely white.

Easy to float. Haze was pretty easy to wipe as well after grout was set. Easy process.

I tried 2 other brands of grout colorant and had to return both. Beware of "beige". Both brands of beige turned out to look more yellow than actual beige, and did not match my beige tile at all. This "bone" colored Grout renew finally did the trick. It was extremely easy to apply and looks great. I will upload an image of the "before and after". Before I used the grout renew, I cleaned the grout with Zep grout cleaner. It looks like I have brand new tile.
