I have nothing to say about the compost, except that it's compost. My complaint is with delivery,...
I have nothing to say about the compost, except that it's compost. My complaint is with delivery, which was handled via Estes Express. Delays, what was either incompetence or falsehoods, substandard delivery tools and a general don't care attitude. These people did not even have a forklift for offloading the pallet. Instead, the driver basically wrestled it to the ground, unnecessarily destroying some landscaping work I had just completed in the process. Since Estes is probably the only service Home Depot uses to get material to my area, I have placed my last online order with them.

The compost looks good and dark. I don't see...
The compost looks good and dark. I don't see any un-composted material in it. The compost doesn't have any odor...smells just like good earth.I gave 4 stars because the compost was pretty wet. Some of it turned into soggy big clumps. I needed to break it up by hand. However, when it dried out, it looks just like compost should be.In my opinion, the price + delivery fee is a bit steep, but I find it impossible to find good quality YARD WASTE compost in my area (I am not interested in composted manure), so I am willing to splurge.

This is high quality compost. I use it to amend the soil at planting time, and as a top dressing for all my established plants (I use it in place of mulch). Even though it's more expensive, I get a good return on investment, with healthier plants and higher yields of fruits and vegetables. I will never go back to the inexpensive stuff that has lumps of clay, trash and who knows what else in it. Worth every penny!

Really Very good compost!
Great compost, almost black, rich, beutiful, clean and perfect for my garden. My plants LOVED this compost, expecially my tomatoes which seemed to DOUBLE in size this year! I tried it out after using some of their other products and being extremely happy and was i blow away by the quality!

I used this compost for my vegetable garden last spring. My vegetables grew better than any other year! The compost was very soft and fine and didn't have a bad smell as composts often do. I was very happy with this compost and would recommend it to anyone looking for compost.
