Well-constructed and compact; perfect for ventilating a tight attic space. It has an interior screen to prevent critters from entering where they're not welcomed!

The vents are well made and of quality materials.

Excellent selection for my older home. Nominally priced and good quality. Painting is tedious as there are lots of edges and corners. Back screen needs to be wiped during process to keep it clean. Not sure what kind of siding the bottom grove is designed for, certainly not mine, as I had to trim it to get it to fit. Very happy with the results.

I installed this gable vent on a small outbuilding. Its size and traditional look suited the building well. Please note the 12 x 12" dimensions listed refers to the ventilation area itself; the frame dimensions are closer to 16 x 14. The item is assembled with staples/ brads but it appears square and the joints are tight. I wanted a heavier bug screen than the light mesh that came on the item so I carefully disassembled it and replaced the screen with hardware cloth. The louvers are loose in their slots and held in by the wooden frame surrounding the bug mesh. I took this opportunity to completely disassemble the item and thoroughly prime the inside and outside of the vent. This vent will need to be well painted or stained as it is made of very soft pine. I'm a bit concerned that it won't hold up to the wet weather in my area.

I like the quality and price of the product. The problem is the specs as printed are wrong. It shows the rough opening as12x12. It is actually more like 14x14. Unfortunately, I will have to return the vent because it doesn't fit.

Easy install, worked perfect for my shed

Amazing quality for the price. Very well packed to prevent damage. If staining, be aware that the wood does not absorb much stain.

It is not 12x12. It wouldn’t fit my opening. I have returned it. Very disappointed. My opening is 12x12 and it appears that only your screen is 12x12.

These are nice vents for the price. Clear wood was used to manufacture them and they are nicely sanded and assembled. Be aware they require a 14x14 opening with a vent area of 12x12.

Vent fit perfectly in previous vent hole on in siding

The product was exactly as advertised. The workmanship was good and it was exactly what I was looking for. I am installing split-log siding on my home and this vent is the style and size I needed.

I liked the quality, but the product did not fit in the existing gable opening on my house. The dimensions provided were somewhat misleading.

Bought four as inserts for a ventilation cupola on the ridge of a fancy she shed. Great value and far more efficient than trying to make my own louvers. HD price can't be beat.

Would be 5 star except it isn't 12x12, the rough opening is 14x14 and the whole dimension is over 15 inches with the frame. Well made though

I needed a nice looking vent to ventilate the garage in the summer. Installed this on one side of the garage and a temp controlled fan on the opposite end. Functions perfectly. Looks really nice and fits in with our home. Well made and functional.
