I love my new dewalt compact table saw It cuts very smooth and easy to use very easy to do all my wood work especially since I’m remodeling my kitchen cutting large panels is a breeze I Couldn’t live without this tool It a must have for any one in this trade

Nice saw with great power. Cuts hard wood with ease.

On the first use worked flawlessly plenty of power, I mounted on the DW7440RS stand when I tilted it up the miter gauge slid on to the garage floor and the pivot broke making it useless the distance was only 2 feet. I would have given 5 stars but disappointed with the miter gauge

good price and had all the features that I wanted

I like that it can be moved around.

Excellent quality and performance that is easy to put up for use and to fold for storage on end.

Nice built in features

This is a great saw. This is my 5th job site table saw in my 25 year career. I’ve started with a Skill, a Makita, and two Ridgid’s. This is, by far the best saw. With Most job site saws, after a few months, you can no longer trust the fence, so you are always double checking the measurements with your tape, from fence to blade for accuracy and squareness. The Dewalt rack and pinion fence is perfect every time. The only weakness, as mentioned in other reviews, is the mitre gauge. No on board storage, flimsy, and poorly made.

It has an ergonomically perfect size to carry around and its weight is optimized for stability during cutting. Integrated handles are very helpful and the feet maintain a good grip on a surface. Repositioning the fence on either side of the blade is very simple, accurate and quick. The cut width adjustment mechanism is very easy to use and predictable, clamping is secure. The motor is powerful and the dust removal port perform well if hookup to a powerful vacuum. I have only one complain – the miter gauge. The miter gauge on this saw has plastic protractor with a very small clamping screw. This saw must be equipped with a different miter gauge to match the performance. For some reason the company provides well-constructed miter gauges for other models of similar equipment.

Have used it to trim hardwood boards from an old building my neighbor gave me. I recently used it to cut some sheet metal. Has worked flawlessly. Great machine !!

I am a weekend woodworker and have a small garage workshop and this saw is the perfect size for me. It is easy to use and makes accurate cuts. The saw is well made yet light enough I can easily move it around when I’m not using it.

The compact size makes it perfect for my tight shop, while the power never seems to lack, even while ripping hardwoods. The fence is perfectly square and the rack and pinion feature makes it a breeze to adjust. I would recommend this to anyone in the market for a table saw, even over many of the full sized models I have used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Durable, easy to use, safe, well made. I have the combination 12" miter box, 10" DWE7480 table saw and cordless drill/driver combo kit. I don't have any complains on the tools. The only two drawbacks I ran into are, the miter gauge has a lot of room to move in the slots. I fixed this by putting electrical tape around the "stick", to make it less sloppy. Second, I purchased a Dado Head for the table saw only to find out this particular saw doesn't accommodate all the blades to cut a wide dado. Had I known this before my purchase, I would have upgraded to the one that does. My fault for not reading the "features & specs.

I dont like the stand at all it's to short

Most saw get bogged down especially with hardwoods but this Sliced through 1 inch solids like butter. Obviously blades have a lot to do with it but compared to several competitors saws which my workmates used mine was the go to for all the difficult materials.

Great saw. I am setting up a small wood working shop in my garage and this saw is the perfect size for me.

3 Stars for stand not saw. Bought the table saw 20 years ago, sure it's not the same model, then years later bought the stand. Don't like the stand. Mostly the folding legs. It now has a Bosch router table setting on it in my shop. Works great for that. The table saw sits on a Bosch collapsing mobile stand. Much better design for storing the saw out of the way and for moving it to jobsite. Love my DeWalt tools, just not all the accessories.
