I put a heavier Oregon .05 gauge bar and a Rapco carbide tooth chain on this and now it is more heavy duty, never have to sharpen, carefree saw. I maintain rental property and keep this in my truck to trim overgrowth at houses and it is perfect. Don't have to carry gas or sharpening tools. Highly recommend, especially if you enhance it as i did.

What a joy this chain saw this is. I got a smaller gas powered chain saw last year for my birthday and it is light enough for me to carry and cut with. The problem is I can rarely get it started. It's just so frustrating!
This Dewalt 16 in. 60-Volt chainsaw is amazing!! Release the brake, push the button and pull the trigger and start cutting. It is light enough, powerful enough for limbs and smaller trees, even larger dead wood which we have too much of. It's a real game changer, wish we would have gotten one of these a long time ago. Wooooo Hoooo, lop, drop and load up the wood. :D

Man! I really love this DEWALT SAW ! Extremely powerful saw to be a cordless brushless 60 MAX saw. Easy operations and amazing safety shut off features! I really enjoy using it... Excellent product and we'll worth the price. I cleared almost entire backyard treeline out with saw, in less than a few 2 hours! So I nicknamed it "Little Mule".

I have used this saw for a while now and needed to write this review. We just did a bunch of clean up after the tornado and bad weather. Look at the pics for the results. I used one 9 amp hour battery plus 3 cuts on another battery to fill this entire cage tank. THIS WAS ALL HICKORY hardwood so not easy on the saw. I did this in 45 min to 1 hour. Filled the cage tank and limbed everything also.

This chainsaw cuts as well as any gas powered saw I have ever used. Battery life has been better than expected. Keep in mind I use the saw on occasion and not every day, thats one of the reasons I went with battery powered, no messing with mixing gas and such. If your a lumber jack of some sort your needs may be different.

Bought this saw to replace a similar gas powered saw. This saw is outstanding. It cuts as well as my gas powered saw without having to deal with the starting problems common with gas powered equipment. I recommend this product.
