Works great and easy to use. This is the first nail gun I've ever owned. Not issues charging or using it. It's expensive, but I intend to use it for a long time.

I used this Nail gun while instilling Hickory hardwood floors. It jams constantly. Mostly when you are at about 10 or less nails in the sleeve. Adding nails behind them doesn't work. You have to waste the nails once you get a jam. I am using the recommended Dewalt nails. I thought maybe it was the wood being hard. But I had the same results installing pine tongue and grove on a wall. This is the only Dewalt tool I own that I will most likely replace with another brand.

My boyfriend has an old one that he's had for several years and it's now just starting to throw sparks. It's still usable but the bearing that locks onto the drill bits doesn't work anymore so the bits fall out. I was super excited that DeWalt still makes this model. His old drill has been put through hell on the jobs that he has worked. Excellent quality.

Bought this to replace my paslode. Glad I did. Worked flawlessly. Trimmed out a basement without issue. Also used for trimming a bedroom at home. Having just the battery(no gas) was really nice. Side note the Brad and framing nailers are both super nice as well.

So far so good. The driving mechanism on an older model I have from about 10 years ago broke when nailing some dense press board. Hopefully this one doesn’t have that issue. Minimal use so far on the new one though.

Very disappointed. All of my hand tools are dewalt products. I used trim gun on 1 job and it already needs to be serviced. The pin that fires nails has to be re set after each nail.

very happy with this purchase. I love the freedom of a cordless nailer. It is relatively heavy but that’s just part of tradeoffs with any cordless nailer. It seems like a quality gun. Price point is somewhat of an issue but if it holds up as long my Porter Cable pneumatic nailer did I will be happy. Would recommend it.

Have yet to use it but one my friend had worked awesome no cords or set up required just get to go to town guys I work with are always trying to use my DEWALT gear

We have gone through several of them due to them wearing out. The striking plunger im guessing gets worn down and will no longer fire when the tip is pressed. Thats all understandable but there should be a repair kit readily available where they are sold

All those countless hours spent hammering, holding nails, hitting my thumb, cursing - hours I can never get back. Don't be like me. Buy this nailer and you will never want to hammer another nail as long as you live. No hose hassles-just cordless bliss.

I have (love) the sister product in 18ga. Unlike the 18ga, this continues to fire when out of nails. Bad design
