Great battery powered saw. It is a more light duty saw, but I’m always surprised that the power it does have. The batteries keep it charged for a good long time. I have been using this model for years, but now I have a brand new one. Consider me a happy customer.

Excellent quality saw, I had a small home project and needed a saw, since I already own some Dewalt tools I only need the saw itself. I bought a saw blade but after getting the saw I "saw" that it came with a blade. Nice general purpose saw for the house.

One big was the DCB112 charger that was included, it did not charge any of the batteries. Returned it to my local HD to exchange it for another DCB112 which did not charge either. So, I ended up procuring a DCB118 charger which is performing as it should. Obviously, I do not know what the issue is with the DCB112 chargers by may I suggest that your engineering review the issue.

Quality saw as expected from Dewalt products

It not sure about treated wood, cut dry wood fine. Not sure if it is the moisture

I must have gotten a lemon. First time i used it i put in a fully charged battery, (straight off the charger), the saw ran for about 20 seconds then stopped. Waited a few seconds then tried again. The saw ran for about 15 seconds then quit. Pulled the battery and checked it, it was dead. Recharged the battery, checked it, (fully charged), then tried again. Same results. Returned the saw to the store and am waiting before I order another one.

It sometimes lags/stops while dragging it across a surface.

Cut fiberglass decking with no problems, rips through treated wood like cutting butter.

This is an Awesome kit. I don’t ever regret the purchase. But dewalt could have included more batteries or a couple bigger ones. The ones with it are the smallest they have.

Tool only included a single blade by not a ripping fence. That took a special trip to find one that fit. Tool works great with my existing 20V batteries.

I got this saw to help demo my hardwood floor. I started trying it and half way into one cut it stop I pulled it back and started again but it stop again this time could not restart had to wait a few to try it again, same thing happened again so I gave up.
