Compact but Powerful
This is the go-to drill that I use for everything. From hanging the television on the wall to drilling my attic decking, this drill can handle just about any task that I can throw at it. Also, it can handle being thrown. The drill has definitely seen its fair share of falls and bumps. Yet, it keeps on going strong so I've been quite impressed with it. NOTE: I am not a professional but I am a DIY person who uses there tools an above-average amount of time.
I found that with my 2mah batteries that I can complete any decently sized job. The brushless motor is fantastically efficient and provides enough power to drill holes through any wood that I use.
Attaching some anchors to my aluminum screen, the drill didn't let up once and totally ripped through it like butter. The torque adjustment has plenty of degrees of adjustment that you can find the right torque for the right job. It is gentle enough to put together furniture and strong enough to drill decently sized holes in lumber.
Overall, I'm a fan of the power and how light this drill is. Definitely recommend this to any homeowner and profressional.

Garbage drill and DeWALT doesn’t stand behind it
These drills may be okay for a homeowner who needs to hang a few pictures, but they are not intended for professionals or even heavy DIY. DeWALT does not stand behind their warranty so I’m phasing out all my yellow tools for red as the yellow ones break (shouldn’t take much longer).

Light, powerful, fantastic work light
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this as my new primary drill/driver for all my projects. Everything form hogging holes out of structural wood to disassembly and repair of electronics or building a workstation. It does not disappoint at all in the feel of the trigger, the usage of the clutch and most especially, the work light options. Low, medium and high with a 20 minute delay shutoff is so handy when working in dark and crammed spaces. You can set the drill down and it illuminates the project fantastically well.
After a year of use, I now prefer it paired with the DCB230, 3Ah battery for the larger footprint so it is able to stand more assuredly. I generally don't discharge the battery over the course of a day of use and it is seems to be just the right amount of power for the day.
I expect I will get many more quality years out of this tool.

I bought this to work on my garage to put shelves up. This tool has a lot of power and strong. The charge holds forever. Dewalt has built some great tools over the years. I just started my project and I know it will look spectacular when done.
