This bandsaw is bad to the bone!!!!

I have never owned a band saw before so when I saw this DeWalt 20 volt cordless band saw, I grabbed it. It is very light weight and powerful, just like my new DeWalt 20 volt drill I just received. The blade is very sharp and cuts through just about any type of wood. It has a bright work light at the blade that illuminates the cutting surface nicely. This particular unit does not come with a battery or charger, but I used the 20 volt battery from my drill/driver.

This one is better than the first one I brought.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this now for 6 months and honestly love this for 1/4 wall tubing and cutting 1/2 flat stock.the variable trigger makes cutting a breezy.

The saw is great,but the blade is horrible. I cut 2 pieces of light pipe and the blade was dull.

I've been using the DEWALT 20V MAX XR Cordless Deep Cut Band Saw for a few months now & I have to say, I'm thoroughly impressed. The tool is lightweight and well-balanced, making it easy to use for extended periods of time. The brushless motor provides ample power & the LED work light is a nice touch, making it easier to see my cuts in low light conditions. The deep cut capacity is also a standout feature - it can handle thicker materials with ease. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I use it all the time at work . Great for cutting heavy gauge metal studs .

Works great, I use the 60 v "flexvolt" battey, it lasts all day cutting 1/2 in all thread and 1/4 in angle iron and rebar. That's about all ibe had the opportunity to test it on so far, and EMT conduit but thats a thin easy to cut metal. It's light and easy to handle and so far it's been wide enough for everything I've ran into. Ive only had it just over three weeks now, so give my some time and I'll update you. I still have my 27 year old DeWalt corded band saw, still working great, but this cordless is great when you're up on a lift or a roof and you don't need to run 100 ft or more of cord to power it

I use this bandsaw everyday at a construction site/shop. I works great for handrails and brackets. I really wish it had a switch for the light.
