Just bought this and placed the battery on charge overnight. After fully charging, the unit drained the batter in less than a minute. Put on another charged battery with same result. Apparently the motor is pulling down the batteries within 60 seconds when operating.

i love this thing! i am pretty anti blower, as i like the exercise that one gets from raking and sweeping. My husband is addicted to using this everyday and i have found that it is great to use if i am in a hurry and don't have time to rake or sweep. one thing i will share is that you should wear pants when using, as if i am in a dress or skirt, the intake sucks my clothing to it and it is cumbersome to keep the fabric away from the intake while using.

After 3 1/2 years it just stooped working and to get it fix will cost about 1/2 the price of new this is so wrong

I purchased the drill a year ago..... Not happy with the drill, the gearing is burned up.

Works great, the only negative is the blower tube comes out of the unit after some use, even though it clicked firmly into the retainer clip when installed.

Birthday gift, 5 weeks old, dead. Trimmer works, batteries fully charged. The on off switch just clicks, but nothing happens, extremely disappointed. Wanted the blower, trimmer was the bonus.

This is my most regretted purchase from home depot. Quality wise, yes it is very sturdy and last long. Feature wise, it is my nightmare. The string/spool management drives me nuts, always lose the string and I have to rewire the 2 line to 2 holes. It is enough trouble for me that I only use it a few times since bought it (and for sure it last long). I have to admit that I am not good at setting up strings, but on 2020 everyone would expect a product that is easy enough to use and maintain. If you are a pro and know how to use it for years, this is a quality product; if you are new to garden work, stay away with the string trimmer! And remember, it doesn't do edging.

Weed wacker was good but the leaf blower could be more durable

Made it 2yrs 4mos before battery went randomly dead (no charge, no indicator lights) despite casual homeowner use and non-abusive treatment. I would expect any quality battery on a $200 unit to make it at least 4 years. The blower itself is totally adequate for residential use and maintained a decent run-time while the battery was functional. Its a shame, I'm a long time DeWalt owner of many of their power tools and this one's a big disappointment.

Stopped working after 1.5 years of light use. No bumps, no bruises, just grass clippings and saw dust. After 20 years of dedicated dewalt purchases (9v,14v,18v,20v), I am now considering other options.

This was a requested gift for Christmas.

Variable speed is perfect because most of the time full power not used, it is very quiet I really like this characteristic, battery life is ok for a yard clearing

Purchase a year ago ,first one stop working, submit it under warranty and now working great!

Just tried my blower today- disappointed that battery life is only about 30 minutes before it goes dead.

Perfect for blowing off drive, porches, mower, decks, yard leaves and inside of vehicles. Lightweight, lots of power. I'm using a 4AH battery and haven't had to recharge in a month.

Outperforms my OLD 120V trimmer. Sure beats using the hand-held "loppers" as they were called. The blower works quite nicely too.

I got tired of lugging out a 100’ extension cord for my electric blower. I wasn’t too sure of the power of a battery operated blower could handle my needs. Reading up on them, I found the size of battery was important. This unit came with a 20V 5ah lithium ion battery that should be sizable enough to allow me the time to leaf/twig blow my back patio area, do the front patio plus driveway, AND my roof. I have a HUGE Florida oak tree that sheds year round. This unit is lite enough even with the added weight of the 22 oz battery. And in the event I need a bit more job time, I have my other DeWalt batteries I could use. I’m very happy with my purchase.

2nd unit. Couldn't be more pleased.

Tools were amazingly light weight. Have been using similar tools that required extension cords. My new tools have saved me hours of time!
