I like that the speaker works with batteries and also can be plugged in. It works as it should. Very simple to connect with my phone.

Recently purchased this Bluetooth speaker to use while outdoor camping and fishing. It easily paired with my phone and has never lost connection. I don't normally listen to music at max volume but tried it once or twice and it's plenty loud with excellent sound. Uses either a 20 volt battery or the included power cord. It doesn't charge the battery while plugged in but it does have a usb port to charge your phone or any other device that charges via usb.

This is what I was looking for. It’s light to carry anywhere, sound is awesome and it’s made by Dewalt. Linking up to my phone was super simple.

Way over priced. Price gouging at it's finest.

This beats my dewalt radio charger hands down. So kuch smaller very portable and convienient. I use it everywhere. Great sound, it syncs up to your phone easily.

Easy to set up and sounds great either for a back yard party day at the beach or job site.

Let me begin by saying everything is great about this speaker...except one thing. I'll get to that. Let's talk about all the wonderful things first. -Three power sources--can use a DeWalt 12V battery, a 20V battery, or AC power -Great size, not too small, not too large. Handle is...handy. -Well built. Little heavy but goes towards being sturdy and rugged/durable -Very easy to use, BT connects easily, works nearly instantly -Priced alright on sale. Reg price is high but discounted it's not too bad. So why two stars? Because *all* of that^ above doesn't make up for the fact that the sound... The *sound* is garbage! Unfortunately the sound quality is so bad this went back to the store the next day. Now when we talk about SQ we need to understand it's 2023 and there are *many* "portable BT speakers" on the market these days. Compared to those kind of speakers--Sony, UE, JBL, even Anker--the sound out of this DeWalt unit is not just below those, it's below those brands' models that are smaller, lower end, and aren't even that good themselves. The DeWalt can get louder than those but that's about all. Loud doesn't necessarily mean good. Unfortunately this is a running problem for *all* tool brands. Tried the red, the green, the orange. All the same--a lot of good features and then terrible sound. If your're one of those people that thinks if it turns on, works, makes noise, and that's all you need. This is your speaker. If you have any care about SQ or any basis for comparison, this is just unacceptable. Not asking for the world here, just don't sound like you're a clock radio from 1992. Tool brands really need to do better, not just put junk speakers in any old box and put a >$100 pricetag on it and call it a day. It's a *speaker*, the main priority should be the sound, but that's simply not the case here.

Dewalt battery 20v 5 amp

5.0 Ah batteries are a very good time saving investment

The original battery that came in the box with my drill finally died. I decided to upgrade to the 5Ah. It definitely had a lot more power.

I purchased this and just took out of box and does not even turn on. This is my 3rd radio from Dewalt and every one works for about 1 week. You should be embarrassed to sell crap like this.

I absolutely love this radio. It fell from a third story window onto a contrite sidewalk. I went down. Put the battery back in and it’s been working ever since. Just bought a second for the shop.
