The drill seemed nice. But the chuck key is hard to rotate the chuck and rotates a few teeth at a time-hard to use. I needed to drill right angle holes through 2x4 studs in tight spaces for my house refurbishment for plumbing pipes and electrical conduit. The drill bit of choice for this work is an auger bit. This drill does not have the power to make holes in 2x4's. It stalls or jams. The most important control on the drill is the reverse switch which was used to back out the drill bit. I was disappointed and returned the drill to HD.
