This piece of Garbage will not collapse . (Fold up) no matter what I do I reached out to DEWALT and received NO HELP I bought a Ridged stand works perfect DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK They sent me instructions on how to lower it requiring two people to do .. HA HA HA joke

I got this because my shop does not allow me to have a actual dedicated work bench for my 780. so this was my pick of all the mitre saw stands. It was very easy to assemble. The instruction were easy to follow. it may have taken me 15 minutes to put together. I like that I am able to adjust the height. I really like the support arms that can extend to about 8 feet.

Very sturdy bench, great for working on. Setup was straight forward. However, trigger to lower bench needs to be tight. Manufacturer zip ties could be in better location; adding one or two more behind bar (pictured) to tighten slack works fine.

The mechanism that has to lock and unlock to extend and lower, the stand, is designed to fail. The shoulder that holds the pin could have been machined into the material. Instead, they braised a cheap little washer that broke after a half dozen times using it.see pics. Another in the long line of cheaply made tools from Dewalt. I won’t make this mistake again.

Difficult to open from closed position. You’re basically lifting the weight of the mounted miter saw and platform until the gas piston starts to help ease the weight a quarter of the way up. Not good for anyone with back issues like me. The height adjustment latch was not adjusted properly and refused to release until adjusted.

This stand would give me trouble now and again with folding up, but would eventually allow me to fold it up. Then about a week ago while needing to put it away, it would not fold up at all. Handle broke off, and ratchet would not release until I removed it. Avoid this stand. I wish I saw these reviews before I purchased it. Saw has some issues, but nothing compared to this sand. See this pics for an idea of what broke.

I mounted the stand 100 % to the instructions with the DeWalt Miter saw on it. However the stand does not unfold. Useless!

The stand is solid and easy to assemble out of the box. The most difficult part was getting the screw to turn into the handle while installing it. Overall I like the stand and would buy again, but I have 2 complaints. (1) The stand does sit a little low while fully extended. (2) The lift assist would not allow the stand to lower out of the box due to an assembly/design flaw. After flipping the cable connections on the release lever, the cables are tight and fully engage without any issues.

I ordered this stand because i liked the idea of it adjusting different heights but both are very low, second you have to lay the entire stand down to raise it up! The ridgid is much lighter & better plus it has detachable arms the dewalt doesn’t. This dewalt stand is a seven yr old design and they changed the material feel rollers to solid round tubes!

I purchased the DeWalt Miter Saw Stand for the added feature of the Slide Out board supports. When close to the saw they are about 1/2" high, when extended its not noticeable. I cut a piece of 1/2" plywood 19" X 23" to put between the saw and stand. I had a board attached to the saw before purchasing the Miter Saw Stand. The board is handy to place items on when using the saw. The stand appears to support any Miter Saw, it has movable adjustable supports. The board supports line up for the boards you place on the saw. Assembly is intuitive and simple, I loacated the assembly instructions in the box after I had assembled the stand. Needless to say I am pleased with the Saw Stand.

The mobility and ability to store my miter saw was so appealing. After assembling it and attaching my brand new DEWALT miter saw, I tested the raising and lowering feature. It came up, but will not lower. I called DEWALT customer service to seek guidance and the rep told me to call Home Depot to replace it. I sense it’s an easy fix, but the gentleman could offer nothing. Now that it’s assembled and ready to use, I’ve noted a couple concerns. One, the stand only goes up to 321/2”. Too low, not comfortable and not safe. Secondly, I wanted to store the unit on its end. The instructions say it must be laid down in storage. Huge footprint!

This rolling Saw stand is heavy as heck sturdy but lack 2 vital components which I was extremely disappointed about. 1) no electrical circuit breaker triple outlet 2) The lack of an appropriate set of handles they only have one which is not adequate given the weight of the10 inch saw and the stand. Otherwise, its ok realize this is not a one person easily portable stand, Its heavy! They should mark the bar over the wheels " grab here to lift"

Great stand. I like the multi level stops. Very heavy though. Aluminum frame would be better as far as the weight goes. Great price as it was “Free” with purchase of the sliding Dewalt saw.

Very Sturdy and Mobile Stand Have my Dewalt 12 inch sliding miter saw on it and works great. I cam move it around with ease in the shop. Great quality.

I was excited to get this and place my new 70 pound DEWALT DWS780 12-INCH Saw on it. This stand assembled fairly easy and quickly. I had quite a time trying to adjust the mechanism that allows the stand to lower. I actually have the adjustment screw all the way extended and still the up and down locking mechanism is 'iffy', sometimes it locks, sometimes it doesn't unlock. The 70 pound saw is heavy going up and heavy coming down.. But the Stand is sturdy!

My DWS779 fits very nicely and I LOVE the saw itself, but I've used the saw on this stand about 20-25 times and I'm just a DIYer not a professional user. I'm very easy on tools and use primarily DeWalt and Ridgid. Today this base broke and won't collapse now. I agree with the other reviews, DON'T buy this stand it is NOT worth $200+!! I don't mind the "bike-like" cables but the pics I include show where it broke. In my humble opinion, DeWalt should at minimum replace the bar in my pics! Beware!

I like this table and I'll tell you why. I bought this rolling table solely for the wheeled portion. I like that I can wheel this heavy saw and table around, through grass, up stairs, and into my shed. This factor alone made me buy this table over the other dewalt extending table (which I have used in the past and love). You can stand upright or flat on ground for storage. It is sturdy and heavy duty. I paid $229 which I think is high. I think a more fair price would have been in the $180 range.

I really want to like this stand, it seems generally well put together. HOWEVER, one glaring weakness is the way Dewalt packages the mounting assembly. It consists of four bolts that move along mounting rails. These are used to mount a miter saw. The problem is that the bolts come from the factory WAY over-tightened. And the small allen wrench provided easily strips the bolts. There is no reason for the bolts to be this tight on shipment. Dewalt needs to do better quality control; I stripped one of the bolts already. We’ll see how Dewalt handles it, before adjusting my review grading.

Strong Stand for power tools, it’s a must have

There is a spring for the retractor mechanical. After adjusting the cable I couldn't get to fold on the highest setting. So I dumped the spring and put bailing wire as the connector. The spring is not strong enough to pull the disconnect. Also I put the saw on the opposite side of what the directions stated because of the material outriggers align with the saw bed. Otherwise, the stand is stable. I like the folding and the ability to store upright. But be wary as in the upright position it could easily tip forward. I have a dws780 on the stand. If your willing to make the modification to remove the spring. The stand is great. I am going to double up the bailing wire until I find a better solution.

I bought this only a few days ago, and I see that is well built. When putting it together the instructions are straightforward, and easy. Putting on a mitre saw was a challenge due to the fact that the mounting bolt was jammed. In the process of removal, the supplied wrench broke off inside the head of the bolt. Rendering the mounting bolt useless. I managed to remove the bolt after several drill bits, and using vice rips as well. I understand it needs to be torqued down at the factory, but that was ridiculous! I am now in search of a new tool and mountain bolt. I also have a problem with the lowering of the unit with a miter saw attached. Isn't it supposed to be able to do that?

I've been looking for this dewalt stand forever and was lucky to find it at home depot.. It was super easy to put together and works perfectly.. If you own a miter saw this is the perfect stand, especially if you will be using it to tske to a job site

I purchased this stand to pair with my DWS 715,The assembly process was painless the only slight issue was when securing the back sliding rail the middle allen head seemed to be right in the way of the bevel knob in the 715, so my suggestion is make sure the front and back sliding rails and in position then at least tighten up the middle allen heads, it is a great stand in my opinion and went with this one because of the ability to move it around if needed.

Dw375 planer. I bought two National N351-459 - 20-1/4" mending plates and if you rounded the edges ( I didn't) they fit in and will fit the corner tight, otherwise a 1/8" gap from edge, but width wise perfect unmodified. I mounted them from underneath from the top, as I cut the mounting bolts in half that came with the unit so I could squeeze them in, though ideally it would of been easier to swap them with bolts and nuts instead of using the factory setup, but it worked other than cutting my hand up from the rough cast aluminum I was tight against on the bottom of the DW375

New to mitre saw learning all features but so far good quality and dependable.

Dewalt….32-1/2 in. x 60 in. Rolling Miter Saw Stand. I chose this particular stand mainly because I can mount either my miter saw or my planer and other obvious reasons like mobility. I can easily move it around my garage and it folds up and stands up vertically for easy storage. The weight capacity of 300 lbs. is a Plus and the best feature I like is the pneumatic assisted raising and lowering system it is very easy to raise or lower the stand with the saw on it. This stand is very well constructed and durable and is very sturdy and is a great addition to my garage/shop.

I bought this stand as part of a combo package with the Dewalt 12" sliding miter saw. Even though it's spring loaded, it takes a fair amount of force to set it up from the retracted position. I hate to think what it'll be like when the spring lets go, and it will eventually let go. If you have lower back issues, look elsewhere. Once upright and in position, it's not all that easy to roll it around. The thing's just plain heavy. My biggest complaint is the sliding side supports, which are practicably no support at all. Once extended, they flex quite a bit, making a perfect miter cut impossible. You can try to compensate for the flex, but once the cut is 50% through, it'll flex on the cut-off side even more. The supports cannot handle the weight of a 4x4. I knew of this problem before I bought it (YouTube Review), but it looked so cool, I wanted to try it for myself. I can't think of a practicable reason for owning this stand, so I'll probably either sell it, or repurposed it for another type of tool.

Tip on folding from storage upright position: Start in that position and open half-way. Set down then open the rest of the way. To store lower it all the way to the ground.

Very easy to assemble. Performed just as advertised. Its a pleasure now owning such a fine stand for my miter saw. I have even used it as a TV stand on jobs because I can't miss any Days of Our Lives episodes.
