Should have a wrench

Order placed Nov. 18 for several Dewalt tools, totaling around $1200, including this saw. When the items shipped, a Jigsaw which was in the order never showed as shipped, but the 4-1/2 in saw showed as delivered in two seperate shipments, but it never showed up; however, the Jigsaw which showed that it never shipped, did indeed show up. There was clearly some sort of mixup. Customer Service denied my claim and suggested I dispute it with the CC company. I am out this tool and my $129.00.

Maybe the blade it comes with is garbage but it had a hard time cutting 1/2” plywood

One of my favorite saw, small and easy to work with

Haven’t had the saw long and have only used it a few times. Saw works great for its intended use. Very convenient for making a quick cut during a project. Controls are laid out well. If I had several cuts to make I will probably grab my full size circular saw. The only thing I noticed was the hex key holder is pretty loose fitting and seems like the wrench could fall out during use. Other than that no complaints or concerns.

Love this saw for those small precise cuts that take more than a jig but less than 6.5. More versatile than the 5 3/8. Great with a 36 tooth blade.

This tool is amazing. I borrowed one, used it, and had to buy my own. It is light, powerful, and convienent to use. It rips through a 2x4 faster than anything I have used. Battery life is really good for how powerful it is. The only complaint is the trigger safety is a bit clumbsy. I get my cut lined up, then have to readjust my grip to actuate the safety button.

I like that it's footprint width is only 4.5 inches. I was needing to cut deck boards off between two posts set close together. It filled the bill well. It has enough power to do the job and the barrel grip makes it easy to grip and guide it on a line while cutting. I can't say too much about the dust collector adapter. It mostly got in my way. All in all I'm very happy with my purchase.
