A truly professional glue gun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ran this side-by-side with my other glue gun (just your standard run of the mill hot glue gun) to try and compare the two and it did not disappoint! The DeWalt glue gun was ready to use in 60 seconds after plugging it in compared to shortly over two minutes for the other gun! The weight of the DeWalt glue gun is really nice and it keeps it from getting knocked over while it’s hot. It was very comfortable to use and seems to be sized just right. No complaints here!

Solid glue gun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gun is everything i was looking for. Basically everything you expect from a Dewalt product. Well built , works the way it supposed to , even has a little metal clip stand that actually works. The only knock i have is that it doesn't come with a starter glue stick. If you're new to this, you'll have to go out and buy glue instead of getting to use this gun right out of the box. Long story short, this gun will work for a weekend warrior or a production line worker. Buy it. You wont regret it.

Super fast heat up!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using the ceramic heat gun for about 2 weeks now. It heats up to use within 15 seconds and the more impressive part is stays hot for about 5 minutes after unplugging. I was happy to find that although it sais to use 0.45" glue sticks I was able to use 0.5" with no issues.

Dispenses glorious amounts of glue in a jiffy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hot glue gun works great as you'd expect. Heats up fast, dispenses glue evenly and is easy to load. The folding stand keeps this bad boy in a stable position until you're ready to unleash stick after stick of hot glue on your unsuspecting projects.
The only downside I found is the trigger mechanism can become tiresome to squeeze after a few sticks.
Maybe some kind of spring loaded assist could be added in the future.

Great glue gun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great glue gun!! It heats up a lot faster then my other gun and i am able to dispense glue at a faster rate. I don’t have to wait for the sticks to heat up each time I add a new one they are ready in no time. It has a good grip... it’s easy to handle

Glue Stick Gets Stuck!
I received the Dewalt Ceramic Rapid Heat Full Size Glue Gan as a Christmas gift in 2018.
I used it a few times and it worked great! However, since I am not working due to the Coronavirus, I have been doing several more craft projects and the past 2 times that I used the glue gun, once the 10" glue stick gets about 2 inches from the top of the feeder, the trigger will not feed the glue stick. If I pull the glue stick out, the glue stick is semi-rounded. It appears that the glue stick is trying to melt it, but it doesn't feed.
If I put another 10" glue stick in, it operates as normal until the glue stick is 2 inches from the top of the feeder.
This glue gun replaces a glue gun that I used for 15 years in girl scouts and boy scouts camps!

I read some reviews before I purchased this item but decided to purchase it and try for myself I could not be happier it works very very well .Bought the Stanley 10 inch glue sticks also worked very very well with that.

Same issue! I drilled out the would be glue stop bearing from the nozzle. It works but a guy shouldn't have to do such things. OH, the glue flows now....just doesn't stop. I own multiple DeWalt tools never would have expected something like this from them.
