One work stand saves a bunch of storage area. I mount my router, scroll saw, table saw,, miter saw and planer all on one work stand. I bought several of these and mounted my tool on them. My scroll saw and small router table I mounted on a piece on cabinet grade plywood and then mounted the plywood on the brackets. It makes it easy to swap out different tool on the stand. Sometimes you can have two tools mounted at once.
Easy to Use
need larger ones for bigger tools
A vast improvement over previous DeWalt saw horse systems. I am very worried about the feet though. After a short time, the hard feet have worn down and the screw heads on the feet are making contact with the floor surfaces meant to be protected by the feet.
And the handle release broke so DeWalt is sending me a replacement part as the item is under a 3 year warranty.
I have purchased this item before and am disappointed at the short lifespan they have. The spring that works the handle comes loose and it is very, very difficult to get the clamp off the saw stand. I recommend the product because it is the only way to attach the saw to the stand.
Initially these brackets came with the DEWALT15 Amp 12 in. Double Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw and free Dewalt stand model #DWX723. The brackets were very solid and sturdy when I connected the saw to the stand. I purchased a 2nd pair to use with future equipment, so when I bought a Ryobi router and router table that I needed in an pinch, I put the brackets on the Ryobi router table and put it on the stand and it works great. I have no problems at all. Depending on what other equipment I purchase I may buy another pair of these brackets; it's worth the $27 (without tax) price tag.
