Very handy for drill.

Been using this for several months and have found it to be very handy. I would recommend this if you have a project or job where you will be driving a lot of screws and you need a pilot hole first. I have found it most useful when I'm doing work on cabinets or doors, for example.

Drill, countersink then drive it can't be any easier.

This is my third set, so I know they are great for cabinet work. My only complaint is the supplied allen wrench is the wrong size for the set screws to change bits. The allen wrench fits the case perfectly which tells me the set screws are wrong size. Can't give 5 stars for an obvious QC issue. This is not typical Dewalt quality.

Lots of options for bits, several lengths. The T handle is heavy and feels solid. Ive used it on the job several times and it always gets it done. No issues at all. My only complaint would be the case. It would be perfect if it came in a tough case. The current one is pretty crappy

The set screws that hold the drill bit to the black countersink part are of English size. The set screws in the silver part that holds the countersink and the Philips bit are of metric size. The hex wrench that came in the set fits the black countersink to remove the drill bit but it does not fit the screws silver part. It is too small and spins. After receiving a second order as replacement for the first, thinking there was a defect, a Home Depot associate worked with me to determine the problem. He brought out a set of metric hex wrenches and found the one that fits the metric set screws and gave me that wrench at no charge. Kudos to him. It turns out that that metric wrench fits the English set screw so I don't need to keep two wrenches.. I would recommend that Home Depot remove this item (and maybe the 8-piece set also) until DeWalt fixes the manufacturing mixup.

Drill bit broke after 3 holes, and loosens constantly. Should theoretically accelerate the work flow but the hassle with fixing the drill bit using tiny screws has the opposite effect. Overall not worth the money.

Set screws are weak and fall out after normal use.

Good product overall. Wish there were more spots for bits in the case. Only negative is the release for the quick change requires positive pressure during the whole change which makes it difficult to do one handed if your holding something in place with the other hand.

as easy to use as drill bits

I have multiple sets like this (4 of which 2 are dewalt) and if you work with hardwood or plastic it should be in your tool box. It predrills your holes, provides a recess and quickly flips to drive your fastner in. It makes your work neater and doesn’t take much time to do. There are adjustments you can make to match the fastner you are going to use but I generally just keep it at one setting.

Nice box too, so I can add a few other items.
