Works as should in Industrial Cons. Pipe Fitting.

Fresh out of the box it worked 1 out of 5 times . You have to unhook and re hook battery several times per use , not very effective for a tool I use the most!

I must say, it has a TON OF POWER for a cordless tool it handles the business like its connected to a power outlet. I usually run a 6.0 amp hr battery and get about 30-45 minutes of hardcore use before im looking for my other battery. Don't think, just buy and you can thank me later

For a battery powered grinders, this has to be one of the lightest strongest grinder out there, and I can testify to that!

IMO their better than the corded ones. Just wish Home Depot kept th 2pack batteries in stock. I would’ve done bought a pack if they did cuz I prefer this cordless by far. It’s easier to use and a whole lot less hassle especially when your working out of a weld truck

I wanted to get rid of some of the ice around my driveway the other day and couldn't find my ice chopper, so I looked thru the shed and found a straight shovel that wasn't too wide, went out and tried to chop but it was dull as could be.. I got out out the DeWalt grinder and put an edge on it in no time... This is a great machine, even with the battery it is lightweight and well balanced, and has a TON of power,,, Great for use at home or remote locations, Batteries hold a good charge for a long time.. This has as much power as most of my corded hand held grinders Once again a quality tool made by a quality company that will last a long time

DEWALT FLEXVOLT 60-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless 4-1/2 in. Angle Grinder is an improvement over my old grinder. I've have a Porter+Cable 4 1/2-inch corded for years. This is a handy tool to use on the job, DeWalt has improved on it and its now light weight and cordless. I was first skeptical because it takes a lot of juice to keep these things grinding, but the 60-Volt Max Lithium-Ion battery keeps up with with projects, but for hardest use you'll need to keep the fast charger or a second battery handy. I like that they improved it by adding a stop brake and a kickback brake, too. Its just comforting to know the wheel will stop turning when you release the trigger quickly in case of a bump or slip. The kickback brake I could have used just last month. I was cutting some rusted tubing and somehow my segmented cutting wheel got caught in the hollow of the tube and twisted the grinder which I was able to hold onto, but it demolished the wheel. It made me stop and think what I had done wrong and how lucky it was nothing worse. The kickback brake when it detects a pinch or stall immediately shuts down the grinder saving you and possibly the wheel. You can't take your finger off the trigger as fast as the kickback brake can cut in to stop the wheel. Another safety feature is a two stage trigger to start the grinder need to depress both triggers to start the grinder. This grinder will accept a larger wheel and can take up to a 6-inch diameter wheel with a 5/8-inch arbor, comes with a second larger wheel guard. The angle grinder is compact compared to my old one with a smaller gear box and motor, feels secure in my hand. The two air ports are screened to prevent dust getting into the motor, are replaceable or can be cleaned by just removing a screw. The motor is brush-less which means maintenance free operation. The balance is good and not too heavy at five pounds bare without battery. The 60 volt battery adds another two pounds. Overall, a cordless grinder is an advantage for quick jobs, add the safety features that I really like makes it a better tool.

This grinder was a fantastic add to my collection. I bought it to cut stone and brick doing a fireplace job and have used it to build a pole barn/lean-to. This saw give you confidence to cut anything. I have also used it on exhaust work and fabrication work. If you have plenty of blades it will cut anything and beg for more. I like the different size shields that have many positions depending on the cut position. I also like the reversible handle great if you are not confident with both hands.

KB Need batteries to last longer

The grinder was delivered on time and was exactly what my husband wanted. He was using our son n laws & loved that it was cordless & convenient & now he has his own! Great tool!

My carpenter friend is very happy with this purchase. He told me this machine is very powerful. We are very very happy with it and we highly recommend it.

I have a lot of cordless dewalt tools and different batteries and I can not use it except flex volt.

I bought this for farm use and have rarely used it. Was grinding some metal when the blade seized up and began smoking. Now it won't work and both Flex Volt batteries that came with it won't work on any of our other Dewalt Flex Volt products.

Very nice product and will recommend it to everyone!

Have used only twice am very impressed so far user friendly nicely balanced brake works great plenty of power

I purchased this from The Home Depot and it cannot be used as it came with a 20v battery and requires the 60v Flexvolt
