Really excellent bit

Works perfect for the projects I'm doing.

I was able to drill 1.125” holes so precisely that I’m considering taking on work for NASA. Been picking up so much side work in the neighborhood just making holes with this thing. It’s already paid for itself.

This bit worked great. As long as I took my time and didn't let it get too hot it performed well. Have used it on 3/4 inch Hickory, Walnut and Maple with no problems.

The drill was exactly what I needed to drill a 1 3/4 hole into butcher block legs and with a dowel to secure them to predrilled holes in the block.

Was very sharp and worked great.

I had high hopes for this Forstner bit, but I was disappointed with it's results. After drilling only four 1/2" deep holes, the bit had burn marks and was dull on the cutting surface. I used this bit on Poplar wood, so it wasn't as though I was drilling holes in a really hard piece of wood. Diablo needs to check their quality control on this item to assure that it won't become dull after only drilling a few holes. For the price I paid for this bit at Home Depot, it is not worth it. Maybe Diablo should sell this bit at Harbor Freight for half the price, that way you know you're buying cheap tools and expect them to be junk.

These are great bits!! I have found they will outlast any number of "brand name " bits. I drill alot of 7/8" holes for the "windows" on my wooden toys, so I need something that isn't going to "burn-up" after just a few holes.

A Hight quality bit that cuts fast.

This Forstner bit is razor sharp and does a great job. For my application I wish the shank had been 2” longer.

I needed to drill a single 1 5/8" hole part way through a piece of 1” red oak. The Diablo bit drilled it easily and left a smooth bottom as expected. I don’t know how long it will hold an edge under extended use.

It was a bit difficult at first, you have to put quite a bit of pressure on it but it got the job done nicely.

This hole saw is extremely sharp. I needed to make a hole on my closet doors for large finger pulls. I was very concerned about splintering but that didn't happened at all. It was a smooth clean cut. I'm more than happy with this product.

Cuts very clean, only cut 2 holes in oak, still sharp for now.
