Cuts very clean, only cut 2 holes in oak, still sharp for now.

Drill had some significant burrs on the interior cutting edges that required some honing prior to use but after dressing up with a small stone it worked well.

I couldn’t find a replacement pad for my Kobalt orbital sander, so I bought a Ryobi pad and used this bit to wider the center hole to work on the Kobalt. It was sharp and cut smooth, and now i have a new pad on my sander

This cut amazingly. Previously I had Ryobi forstner bits, and the difference is stark.

DIABLO has a good product I have been using this bit not daily but a fair amount and it is very strong and dependable. No issues at all.

This cut smooth holes through the Baltic birch plywood in my project. I used a slow speed of 300 rpm on the drill press. No burning from heating. After 36 holes it seemed like the first.

It worked just as expected. When it was penetrating the wood it did it smooth and efficient.

I bought a 1/4 inch bit and it does not match 2 other 1/4 inch wood pieces I have. Causing the hole to be too big for the wood dowel and drill guide I have as well. Very disappointed that it’s not true to size.

I needed this specific size for a custom project. Would have preferred a carbide version for the limited use but this is just plenty fine. Arrived on schedule, did the job it was supposed to do. I’d have gladly paid another buck to have it be in a package that would keep it safe when in the drawer. If you’re gonna do a ton of holes, spend the dollars and get carbide bits. For occasional use, HSS saves dollars for sure.

Diablo always makes great stuff, and this bit is no exception. Strong, true, sharp, and seems built to last. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect for cutting precise holes in thick hardwood.

Excellent clean cutting tool as are all Diablo tools I have used.
