I am a fan of diablo saw blades, but hadn't tried their oscillating blades. I installed this blade on my dremel and it cut through the first 2x4 like butter, only to completely stall on the second one. After some smoke and trying to work around a #9 construction screw, I find out 2/3 of the blade is completely worn. I could barely finish that 2x4 and now all the teeth are gone. A huge disappointment for a failed $20 blade. Now I know to not buy diablo or buy separate for metal/wood.

The Diablo 2.5 inch Universal Fit, Bi-Metal Oscillating blade is for use on multi-tools from a number of manufacturers including Bosch, Craftsman, Dewalt, Dremel, Makita, Milwaukee, Porter-Cable, Ridgid, Rockwell and Fein Tools. The attachment interface is designed to fit most tools from these manufacturers without the need of using an adapter. There is a single blade per package. The manufactures states this unit is not compatible with Starlock systems. I had minimal difficulty aligning the blade to fit my multi-tool. It fit securely and did not jettison during use. The intended use for this blade is for cutting nail-embedded wood. I used this blade to assist in removing oak plank flooring in a powder room which was secured with “L” hardwood flooring nails and adhesive. The cutting depth of the blade is 1.5 inches. This angled design and length permitted cutting the nails off laterally with minimal damage to the subflooring. The blade tooth design is similar to straight bi-metal blades found on reciprocating cutting tools offering a 5 time greater life. A trade named coating “Black Ice” is on the cutting edge promoting cooler cutting edge and superior chip evacuation. The Diablo blade is manufactured in Switzerland.

An innovative idea which is nice for the price. Swiss made. First and foremost these blades will fit into most oscillating tools. The only exception is it will not work with star lock tools. The blade is nice and thick and the teeth are formed really well for the over span of 2 1/2 inches. It has a pilot for plunge cutting which really helps out when you’ve got a deal with a chisel. This is heavy duty stuff and it will do the job from the lowest ton the highest setting on any oscillating tool. Although the blade will do a nice job cutting finishing nails, cutting 10d and 16d will require a corded tool basically because battery operated seems to dull the blade faster. As any Carpenter will tell you, that most items from Switzerland is high end- great stuff to use. Nothing from China on this product and I want to say to Diablo… Nicely done!

I have used this 2 1/2 in Universal fit bi-metal drywall blade in two different oscillating cutters previously. Two different branded cutters. One was cordless and the other corded. This blade performed without issue or bias. I thought I would feel a difference in effort required to make the required tight fitting modifications to existing and rotted wood frames for many window openings and recessed light cut-outs when building and finishing my sun-room. Remodeling is fun. I highly recommend these branded cutters

Bought this to cut through old caulking on windows. l chose the embedded nail version expecting it to last longer and it was not made in China. The teeth were gone before I finished one large window. There were no nails, just old, hardened caulk.

This is my third Diablo tool blade and has not disappointed. I have an old popcorn ceiling to pull down and while the demo itself is easy, there are pieces of the tiles stuck under the beams I am trying to expose. Cue this tool! It cuts through the tiles quickly and easily, which makes working far easier as I am working with my arms above my head which is tiring. I will switch from my current blade of choice to the Diablo brans as all of the ones I own have exceeded my expectations!

I love diablo blades for their quality and durability and this blade is no different. Diablo products can be a little pricier, but they cut very well and in my experience last longer than other blades. Pros: Bi-metal should last longer (time will tell) Black-ice coating helps reduce friction so it slides into gaps with less vibration Multi-fit for many different brands - fits my ridgid great Size to fit into many smaller areas Cons: Pricey - but worth it in my opinion

Diablo makes exceptional high quality blades and this osculating blade is no exception. The blade is very durable with a more sturdy build them most other blades on the market. It cuts through wood with nails very easily and made my project quite easy. The black ice coating helps reduce friction and cools the cutting teeth. The measuring markers on the blade also help with cutting depth and is a nice touch in English and metric units. I recommend this blade and will definitely get more in the future.

Good Multi tool Blade - This Diablo multi tool blade has different mounting abilities for various brands of multi tool types. I had two different mounting options for my multi tool and had no issues mounting it. Given that the blade is slightly curved it was easier to make plunge cuts. This helps keep the blade from walking all over your work piece. I reccomend the blade and would buy it again.

I wish I had this a year ago when I was demolishing an old carport. This gets into places a sawzal might not get into easily. It fits my Makita XMT03 multitool like it was made for it. Packaging states it will fit Bosch, Craftsman, DeWalt, Dremel, Fein, Hart, Milwaukee, Porter-Cable, Rigid, and Rockwell's offerings as well. It's made in Switzerland - a place know for its craftsmanship. This and some good sanding pads are a must have for your multi-tool. I highly recommend.

I have just used it for a small job so far . I am have happy with it right now, quick clean cuts.

I thought since these were supposed to cut through metal that they would last longer than less expensive metal-cutting blades. I went through two of these trying to cut a screw head off. These were very expensive and only marginally better than much less expensive blades. I feel that I wasted a relatively large sum of money on these and would not buy again.

Great blade as always with Diablo. I bought a three pack and I have to say it was worth the money. It even cut through sixteen penny nails with no problem and then undercut all my casings and jambs.

We cut through 12 laminate floor boards and blade was no longer good.

Got 30 minutes of usage undercutting door casing during a flooring install. After that the teeth lost their sharpness and the wood started smoking instead of cutting. Price too high for such bad performance

Great purchase. Worked great, did the job.
