Bought the double pack of 4 1/2" diamond board and after maybe 30 minutes of cutting over 2 days the blade fell apart. The diamond material flaked off leaving the bare metal blade. I'd like to know what it lasts 100x longer then... A slice of cheese perhaps?

Having said that, this cutting wheel is great- this beast CUTS!
I just wish I had bought this before I went through half a dozen cutting wheels, and saved quite a bit of money,
especially since this is a TWO PACK!
I bought this hoping it'd hold up at least half as long as the packaging claimed it would. It lasted maybe as long as two abrasive discs, at most. No idea where they came up with the "100 times longer life", but it certainly wasn't cutting 1/8"-1/4" mild steel. Just go with the regular abrasive blades. They're far cheaper for the amount of cuts you get out of them.

This product line is defective. Before buying I read some reviews and noticed some were saying the discs were losing its cutting edge on the first cuts. I though those people were using the disc in a wrong way. However, once I tried them I suffered the same issue, after exactly 1 cut of 10 seconds the disc had lost its cutting surface.
This gotta be a defective batch as its inconceivable that a quality brand like Diablo would do a product that won't work for more than a single cut.
I emailed Diablo tools for warranty, I'm expecting them to honor it.
For now, DO NOT BUY, these discs are defective and don't work.
The photos show the proof, I decided not to try the second disc and I'm showing a Lenox blade with 300+ cuts that has its cutting surface intact.
These diamond wheels are awesome! I had always used abrasive wheels and didnt buy these due to the price of a single one. Boy am I glad I bought these. They are just a great upgrade. They truly do last 100x longer. You save time by not having to constantly change wheels due to them wearing down or breaking. There's no more exploding chunks when the abrasive wheel cracks. And they stay a constant size. They spark a lot less. My only negative I can say is I'm upset I didn't try these years ago!

I had a bunch of 14g steel sheet to cut out various shapes in. I bought one of these expecting 100x extended life of a cutting wheel. However I am familiar with the process of impregnated diamonds in steel and was suspicious of its longevity as marketed.
To be fair, upon first use, it cut through the sheet steel like butter but after about a total of approx 6 feet of cutting, it all went bad. Never let it get hot or anything like that. No abuse! Assuming that the steel stripped the impregnated diamonds off as the cutting edge is no longer as "rough" as it was new by touch. It now cuts maybe as good as a generic cutting wheel, if that. Way more sparks presumably from the steel blade again the steel plate. Extremely jagged edge being left now as shown. Big fan of Diablo blades but this was disappointing.
