I used it to drill 20 holes through pre-treated, 4 x 4 wood never had an issue worth all the money.

Weak drill bit, often breaks

Great bit, great price!

Use it on the railroad to drill through ties, it barely makes it a quarter way through before it ceases. Even in the lowest gear setting of our drill it struggles...milwaukee impact auger bits beat this all day every day.

Was drilling 5/8” holes to put 5/8” thread rod into to support some floating shelves made out of butcher block. Predrilled it 6” deep with a 9/16” bit to get it perpendicular, then chased it with this 5/8” auger bit. Got maybe 8” in and jammed, couldnt back it out, couldnt keep it going. Had to use a breaker bar on vice grips, which ended up bending th bit loke a banana.

Smooth, clean holes - only used about 20x to lag bolt 4x4 posts into a 2x12 stringer, but there's virtually zero sign of wear
