Worked as indicated. Did use hot water to help slip the existing hose on.

Easy reliable splice for drip lines.

Very easy to use. Easier than clamps.

A helpful tip - lightly cover the tube to be inserted with stick deodorant. the tube goes into the Compression Coupling very easily, provided both parts are somewhat warm from the sun.

I bought two of these to repair a 1/2" Rainbird drip line. One of them sealed the line but the other did not. I ended up ordering the correct part to repair the line and will be returning these. I believe these will work well for the black pipe but not the brown drip line.

These couplings are essential for system repairs.

I may be using it on the wrong pipe, but this didn't hold for more than a few seconds of pressure on the line. No grip. I ended up using a coupler from Rainbird, which has done a great job.

Works most of the time for your drip irrigation needs. Cheap, but not the easiest things to use.
