Love it!
Good at easing up on the pressure so plugs don't pop off.

I do not like writing negative reviews. I purchased 4 of these in hopes it would fix my soaker hoses over pressure. When I measured the pressure after putting these on the soaker it was still the same pressure I had before, above 60psi. These things did nothing to reduce the pressure going into the soaker hoses. Super disappointed.

hose pressure reducer
The cheap plastic would crack before it was tightened up enough to prevent leaks. I went through numerous before I was able to get one that didn't crack or leak.

Works fine
I have 60 psi public water. With regulator in place and flowing, it puts out 25 psi spot on. Folks that are claiming it doesn't regulate need to measure while flowing. Just putting a gauge on the end of the regulator doesnt work. We'll see if mine suffers the same "leaking" fate as so many other reviewers'

Good Pressure Regulator, but not to 25 psi.
I have been using these for over 20 years on Dig brand drip system components in my vegetable gardens.Recently I purchased a water pressure gauge. My household water pressure measured at 90 psi, within the 100 psi limit on the product label. I tested 3 pressure reducing units; one was used several seasons and two that are brand new. None tested at 25 psi. All 3 at 40 psi or above. I have never had a catastrophic high-pressure failure of DIG tubing or emitters. I have had small leaks where 1/4" in-line shutoff valves (D33A) connect 1/4" tubing to 1/2" poly Tubing (B35), and using 1/4" inline shutoff valves in-line in 1/4" tubing. Also at 1/4" barbed connector (H80A) connecting 1/4" tubing to 1/2" poly tubing. These small leaks may (or may not) be the result of the pressure regulator not reducing pressure to 25 psi. Threaded adjusting caps on Adjustable Bubbler on Spike (BUSSB) will frequently "pop off". That may be the result of too-high pressure. Overall I prefer to use DIG products. The variety of products is excellent, and most overall quality is good. The jury (me) is out on the DIG 25 psi Hose Thread Pressure Regulator. I will continue to use them.
