Brooklyn Collection 2-Light Black Flushmount
First and foremost, this light fixture really is a no brainer both fitting together and installing, in which a few seconds to remove the mounting bracket and install it on to the required outlet box in your ceiling. Then install the glass panels
Then after assuring that the line is dead, simply connect the wires using the supplied hardware. If not sure, give this project of the wiring of it to someone you know is competent (qualified electrician)
There is only one area that I am not entirely happy with and that is the 4 glass panels. After positioning them, there are 4 `holders` on the top and 4 at the lower edge and all these require either bending up (the lower ones and the same with the top ones which secure the glass by bending downwards to each holder so they are all touching each glass panel.
Personally I would have preferred panels that slide into a holding secure position rather than bend the holders
Having said that, I do like the appearance and it is solidly made. I ended up installing this fixture in my office and although it advises using a couple of 60W incandescent, in this world of LED’s it seemed silly not to use them so I fitted two 9W LED’s which gives roughly 800 lumens per LED which is more than enough to light a room of 12 X 12.
This fixture has a strong rugged design. Clear precise Installation instructions are supplied along with the hardware.
Pros: Looks Great, Nice Design
Cons: glass shades fitting could have been better
