I will leave 4 stars because i just buy this generator have to wait a few weeks to get it home and finally when i receive it i put everything on place i try to started with propane and this not starts just cranks and backfires like crazy i call Duromax phone Number and i explain the problem to them thay told me to change the spark plug for a NGK BPR6ES and that would resolve my problem, i did that and yes that fix my problem but if they know they having a problem with this why you dont send the spark plug already, why you dont replace the spark plug from factory? I already spend almost 2k buying a generator that woukd not start until i replace the brand new spark plug that comes on the engine from factory, that is unacceptable, at least they should send a free set of spark plugs

I purchased this as a home back-up generator. I have a smaller 3500 watt unit that powers a few necessities but because we have an electric range I wanted something larger. I spent the first week slowly running it up to the 8 hour break-in and learning the operation. I changed the break-in oil upgrading to full synthetic and now just waiting for a power outage to see how it performs. My intention is to limit my home electrical usage while using the generator. My biggest power users will be a refrigerator, electric range, garage chest freezer, and central air. Hopefully it'll perform as advertised.

Haven't needed it yet but it's a rugged looking well built machine. Only issue is when I got it out of the box the battery cover plate was scuffed up and bent in. No damage to the battery, so I guess it did what it was supposed to do. Cosmetic problem only, shouldn't affect performance.

I bought this a month ago. Easy to assemble. And it started right up. Hopefully I never need it. But I’m very glad to have it. Super easy to use.

Unit appears to be well built. Easy out of the box setup. I like the collapsable handles.

First assembly was easy. Added oil and fuel generator starts up easy and ran smooth. Purchased for times of power outages at my home.

Purchased this generator after experiencing total outage for 14 hours in record heat in Texas. I live in the country and have a propane tank I plan to use with this. I am waiting for the electrician to wire this unit and then I will get the propane tap. Excited to get this unit ready for the next blackout.

Finally got my generator. Shipping was very delayed.the seller said fast shipping,7 days. Well it took 14 days. Tracking info was terrible. Nice machine, easy assembling. Works great so far. Have not tried the propane hookup yet.

Although I have not used it to power my whole house yet, it is nice to have the security to know I will be able to if an emergency should arise.

Great piece of equipment, starts every time and does it's job. How ever at only 14 hours of run time,I had a motor mount failure. It would be a good thing to put that item on your routine checklist before operating. It's not a good design, but covered under warranty and was replaced at no cost to me. If you have or have a friend that has a TIG machine the part can be repaired and kept for an emergency spare.

Assembly was easy and instructions were detailed.

Got the CP13,000HX together pretty easy. Will start testing it soon and update from there.

Great experience so far! Easy assembly! Completed my first 8 hour break in just in time for a power outage that only lasted long enough to see it perform. Just what I needed to run my whole house, a/c’s and all!

I found the assembly instructions easy and straightforward! Unfortunately my utility has not approved use of the GenerLink device so I'll have a transfer switch and panel installed this coming Monday. Thank you very much!

I bought last week I’m ready for home backup

This was one of the smartest purchase I have made in a long time. This thing is amazing and was very well priced. It is a little loud but who cares because this beast does not disappoint.

This generator is a beast !!!! Powered my home right up I really like the push to start button and easy to assemble.

This is my second DuroMax purchase. Started first attempt with propane. Ran for 20 minutes then turned it off to check oil and cool down before running break in suggested. When I attempted to restart it would not start. After some research I found several articles with same issue of bad sparkplug. Replaced plug with NGK BPR6ES with gap of .030 and fired right up. They are great generators and hope this helps for others.

This generator looks and works great. Hope I never need it but we will be ready. The only issue is the air filter cover was cracked during shipment. Can I get a replacement?

I bought my Duromax generator off eBay and received super fast free shipping, after unboxing and installing the wheels and handles connected the battery putting the right amount of oil and gas in this monster it started up in less than three seconds on the first try. For the price of a 13000 watt generator it was a no brainer to buy.

I am having trouble with propane start up. Gas start up went well. Will call for tech-support. Otherwise generator works like a charm.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago, I have an electrician connected to the entire house and is holding my AC unit (2 tones) and the rest of the house. I just tried for few minutes. I hope in case of a hurricane is going to be ok for few days running. I use the propane tank for testing I didn’t put any gas in so far.

First thing I want to say. I have had this generator for 3 years now. This is one of the best investments I have made. Before buying this generator. I didn't my research. I am glad I chose the 13,000 watt. This generator is a beast. I am writing this review on May 2nd 2023. We are having a snow storm in the Michigans Upper Peninsula. Our area has lost power. We were out of power for 26 hours. This generator ran the whole time. With no stops or hesitations. It is easy for me to move around. Easy start. It's is reliable. It will help keep your family warm and safe. When a storm hits and the power goes out. It is more power then I need. But I tell yeah. It's better to have more watts then not enough. So if you are looking for a new generator. You want something to run you whole house. This is the one. Me and my family are happy we made this investment. Great job to all the people at DuroMax.
