Having an early 60’s home, Damp Rid helps to contain moisture in closets especially in the front of the home.

I’ve used damp rid for many years. I find it to be extremely effective if used with dehumidifier. On occasion I have had an enormous mess to clean up if the bag leaks. Very difficult to clean off floors. Another use I have found for the liquid collected in the bag is to save it and use like you would roundup to kill weeds. Works great. Pricey and the little white hangers sometimes come apart from the package. Great product but has a few downfalls.

Use this product routinely in my downstairs closets to absorb excess moisture.

Why are you creeping on my simple purchases? Chasing me down for a review on Damp-Rid. I am already familiar with the product. I purchased 4 boxes. All I have to say is that the boxes were dusty.

What happened to the fragrance? Pure linen has always been my favorite, but this most recent box-purchased in store- is awful. Either mislabeled or they have reformulated. What a shame!

If all goes well this is a good product. The bags sometime leak the liquid. It will destroy things. Seeps through the floor. I had a bag fail and had hundreds of dollars in damage.

My favorite item in my closet for keeping closet smelling nicely - change every 2/3 months

Keep these in both of my homes; in northern New England and here in FL and closet stays fresh smelling and clothes do not mildew! Change regularly every 2-3 months.

Used Damp Rid for over 15 years in Florida and now SC. Everyone needs at least one in each closet during warm/humid months. The amount of condensation it will accumulate in a few weeks will amaze you. Best product for insuring humidity is removed regardless of where your AC temp is at.
