Convenient to use. Begins removing odors and dampness immediately in the laundry room. I have it in a small laundry room with no external dryer vent for over a month and it is still effective.
Damp rid is a must for crawl spaces and closets at damp times of the year.

So I have an unusual use for this product. I have a outdoor ground vault that houses an external pump for my pond. The PVC composite vault sits in a concrete footing. The bottom is just gravel and has a storm drain that exits to air 40 feet away. Any incidental ground or rain water that gets into the vault, will soak into the gravel and/or drain into the storm drain. But here in the Pacific Northwest we tend to get just a little bit of rain - for 8-9 months! So moisture in the vault is ever prevalent. Before using this product, when opening the vault lid, I would have moisture collecting on the underside of the lid (likely due to the heat produced from the pump would cause the vapor to condense on the colder surfaces. I placed the pale of this product on top of the primer pot. Viola! The vault remains dry! This is good as the body of the pump is steel. Further, it was noted that the last time I had a preventive maintenance on the pump, they noted the bearings had rust (likely due from when I would have the pump on a timer and it would turn off and cool down). This has checked the issues. I need to change the pale about once a season so all in all a great product!

I also bought the smaller containers and they are working great. I bought two of the big ones. Both of them seemed very heavy and hard when removing them from the box. I have never used them before so didn’t know if this was normal. They really cleared the air for about 2 weeks. I have only been using them for a couple weeks and I think they are done. Supposedly good up to 6 months. $$$

We recently had some very heavy rains, real record-breakers for this area, and one of my walls showed water seepage at the bottom. DampRid helped keep the inside damage to a minimum and was also very effective at reducing general condensation. The "Fragrance-Free" is the only way to go.

Damp rid is wonderful to put in your bathrooms to keep your towels from smelling after them getting wet from drying off. As well as in your laundry room when you hang stuff from the wash Machine that can't be put in dryer, I also put them in my boat right before covering it up to keep inside from getting mold and mildew,
