The drop in tabs are convenient with no worry about accidental spills. As the tab absorbs moisture you can see it reduce in size. The syrup-type water accumulated is safe in the bottom portion of the container;; picking it up remember to keep it level so no spill occurs. I would think it's large enough to hold water from several tabs but I'll keep on eye on it. Having unscented tabs help if you're using other scents in the area. The tab holder is a little better suited to fit in any decor, as indicated on a bookcase where I have it. Also used it in the stairwell leading to my basement and a bathroom that doesn't get used to often

My wife has been using the Damp Rid hanging type for a few years in our basement closet for a few years. When I saw the new unit it seemed like a better design. When I received the samples (8) I realized that I didn't have the container that you used them in but I obtained 2 online. Each came with one tablet in a starter kit. We sat the container on a counter in the basement. After just two days it had extracted about a quarter cup of water from the humidity.

I had an empty DampRid reusable cup that I wanted to refill and use to absorb extra humidity in my guest bedroom that has an on suite bathroom. I found that DampRid sells refill tablets as well as crystal refills. I got the DampRid fragrance free 2-Pack of tabs. The product has very little scent and was easy to deploy, you only need to drop in the tab into the top tray of the cup and snap on the lid. DampRid does make a specially designed holder for the tabs as shown on the images you can purchase separately. Once the tab is used up, you only need to pour out the water in the cup into a toilet, then refill with a new tab. From my experience using the crystals compared to the tab, I think the tab may last a bit longer as seems heavier with more DampRid material.

This product is great. The tablets are extremely big so you would get a good usage out of it. You have to put them in the machine but I don’t have the machine right now so I would just use the container and see how much moisture it collects due to my apartment being over the building boiler. My floor gets extremely heated and my plants die within a week. This would definitely help me get some of the moisture out.

The damp rid moisture absorber refills are an easy way to rid your room of unwanted moisture. After buying the dispenser, I set the unit with A tab loaded into it and located it in our basement. After 24 hrs I could tell a slight difference in the air as it did not feel so heavy or musty. There was a freshness to it also even though these were not scented. I did not notice a lot of water in the container yet but I can see it forming. Will be anxious to see how it does the next few days. Never thought to use this product before but now that I have I can see how effective it is.

It saves money and you don't have to worry about it starting or stopping. I didn't want to take pictures of it in use but we have emptied the container and have been able to buy and use the refill tabs saving a little bit more money. Keep in mind these are only the refills you need the starter kit to use them. We have had the scented ones but I prefer these ones.

I highly recommend this product. I use it in my RV in the outside compartments. After a couple of weeks there was 3 inches of water in the container. It could be used in areas of a house but this is a more compact version. You can buy larger packages for bigger areas. This really drew a lot of moisture out of the compartments of my RV that I put them in. I must say that I would highly recommend that you get the unscented/fragrance free tabs as I have used the fresh scent Damprid and it has a terrible chemical smell.

I’ve used this product for over 14 years. It actually does what it says it does. Seems like magic drop a tablet into the container, leave it and return later (Over night) or while at work and you’ll see the water it’s pulled from the area you’ve placed it in. I’ve used it in the utility room, bathroom and the garage where I place my art work. I referred Damp Rid to my friends and family who have had moisture issues also. I get nothing but thank you’s because this product does what it says it will do! Yes I will continue using this product.

Needed to refill our DampRid Drop-In Moisture Absorbing Tab Starter Kit and this DAMPRID 15.8 OZ. FRESH SCENT DROP-IN TAB MOISTURE ABSORBER REFILLS (2-PACK) was more than adequate to maintain a supply source for a lengthy time span. Has worked well for me during application. No messy spills and I have no problems with the scented smell. 2 drop in tablets per box (received 4 boxes total) which takes care of several bathrooms in our home that requires moisture control.

They do a great job pulling moisture out of the air. Great for the summer time at my cottage. The attic gets sticky and this takes care of that problem without have more electrical appliances.

Refills are great for that damp rid moisture control system first to prepack very very pleasant scent river like the smell they were great to put them in when they're gone you dump the moisture out put another one in and on you go it is that e-mail. Too do . Recommend this product for anybody needing moisture control for small space or crate it's a great product

I have a drop in container from Damp Rid. These are the refill tablets which are used with it. The refills come with two tablets which are separately sealed. The refill does not provide the container; that is sold separately. I like the idea of reusing a container and refilling it. It costs less than buying whole units over and over. The scent is Fresh Scent which is a clean fragrance rather than a perfume-style one.

The DampRid Drop-In Tab Moisture Absorber arrived today along with a whole case of refill tabs. The case contains four 2-packs of moisture absorber refill tabs. These tabs look like giant white aspirins. The top comes off the drop-in tab system and this tab fits right in. Each tab is advertised to work for sixty days depending on conditions. I am using mine in the basement. I should have enough refills to last at least a year or longer.

I got the Damprid moisture kit to use in our safe. The kit came with a couple tabs, but I wanted to a few more so I ordered extra. I have tried other moisture ridding set-ups and they do take out the moisture but not the smell. I am hoping with the Fresh Scent smell, the items kept in the safe will not longer smell. The tabs a quite large so they should really soak up a lot of moisture.

In my home I have had a problem in my large master walk in closet with moisture, mildew and oder. I decided to try this product as the others that I have tried in the past just did not seem to solve the problem particularly in the small floor safe that I have in the same closet. These tablets are big in size and they do the work you would expect. We used this in our bathroom to help reduce a musty odor. The tablet has a "clean" smell and quietly sits in the corner of the collection tub. All you have to do is routinely empty the excess water that it collects in your room. Easy clean up and quality results makes these inexpensive tablets an easy decision.

This 2 pack DampRid Drop-In Refill Tabs are the tablets used in the DampRid Starter kit. Each tablet is made of calcium chloride crystals which pulls humidity and moisture from damp spaces. I placed the starter kit in a closet off my master bath and within days several ounces of water was visible in the bottom of the reservoir. I highly recommend the DampRid starter kit and refillable tablets because this product has a nice scent, is highly effective and removes excess moisture from areas like closets and bathrooms. These tablets are an inexpensive and safe way to remove humidity from moist areas; however, it is recommended that this product be kept out of the reach of children.

I have been using Damp Rid crystals for years and these fresh scent Dam Rid tablet refills are much easier to use, and not as messy as the crystals! The container for the tablets is much nicer looking, and easy to use by just dropping in a tablet when a refill is needed. There is usually a little residue left in the container where the tablet resides and I usually rinse it off with a little water before I add the refill - probably not necessary, just my OCD kicking in. I use these in my bathrooms, kitchen, and an under stairwell storage closet. No more messy bags or tipping over a full container of liquid. They really do help with musty odors and this is a great improvement over the other dispensing methods!

Drop in refill tabs are great. They come in a two pack and each tablet is individually wrapped. The fresh scent is really great. It is not too strong or over powering when you smell it. It simply drops easily into the Damprid container and it is a snap. They last a pretty long time before you have to replace them as well. The price is fair for the product that you receive.

I use these a lot, they work great placed in your safe for Moisture control and in my camp trailer where there is always plenty of moisture. They attract and trap excess moisture, eliminate musty odor and come pre measured so there is no waste. Easy to use and set up.

A reasonable refill pack! I've had a few DampRid moisture absorber units in my basement, for a year now, and I'm very pleased with how well they work. These refill packs make it easy to be abe to keep things going, and not have to buy an entire new unit. As long as you have a moisture absorber, once the old puck is gone, just pour the water out and put a new puck in. Very easy to use, and works great too. Now noise, no mess, and you can just flush the old water away. I don't really notice the "fresh scent", but I don't really think that's a big deal. I'm happy to have new refills, and at a good price point.

The moisture accumulates in the bottom of the container and can be easily dumped and reused. Having these refill packs will make it easy to reuse the moisture absorber time and time again.

Just lift the top on the dehumidifier and place the refill tab into the moisture absorbing unit. Place the unit on a flat surface, preferably out of the reach of children. I recently got the starter kit and was impressed with the performance of these cakes and these refills keep the job going. They do work! And, they also last for quite a long time. They have a scent to them which reminds me of strong commercial cleaner. I was concerned at first because the scent is quite strong out of the package but once installed and out of the way, it is not overwhelming. In all, it's a no nonsense product that helps with occasional, mild increases in humidity. In other words, they won't help you with a humid basement where you need a proper dehumidifier. But, if you need humidity control in a bathroom, mudroom, etc., this will do the trick.

I needed a moisture absorber for my RV (I want to be sure that after a trip I get as much of the moisture in the air out to head off mold formation) so I got the DampRid Moisture Absorber (I provided a picture so can see what I’m talking about). These refill tabs are especially made for it and work great (note: the tabs are NOT meant to be used by themselves; you need a moisture absorber housing to use them). I get about a month or so of moisture removal from one tab; they remove just enough moisture without drying the air to dust. Once they are completely used up you simply pour the liquid that forms out of your dehumidifier, rinse it out, and drop another one in. Great moisture absorber, period. A bonus is that they also remove minor odors from the air and leave a nice fresh scent. Great for both home and stationary vehicles/campers.

There is not much to describe except that they are very easy to replace in the dispenser. I like that they not only absorb extra moisture in the air but they have a fresh, clean scent. The main ingredient is calcium chloride. Each tablet measures 4" in diameter and is about 1.5" thick.

I'm not sure how this thing works it's voodoo magic but it really does suck water out of the air and deposit it into the cup below, you can visually see the cup fill up over time. I wouldn't go so far as to call this a replacement for a dehumidifier, I use it WITH my dehumidifier to reduce how long it has to run. Based on the ecobee sensor I have down there, this has reduced the humidity in the basement about 5% since it was placed. Again, that doesn't sound like much but it's the difference between my dehumidifier running 45 minutes every hour to only running 30 minutes every hour. We have to empty the cup about once every 3 to 4 weeks. I did ding it a star because the scent is very over powering. I honestly wish it was unscented, but that's not enough to make me stop using it.

This moisture absorbing system works really well. I have been using it in a bathroom without an exhaust fan and there have been a noticeable difference in the moisture left behind from showers. They do have a clean fragance to them, which I happen to not be a huge fan of but that is personal preference. These also last a while so the refills should last you a while.
