Very difficult to set! Instructions are not very clear and even after figuring out how it is still extremely cumbersome! Does not have dusk to dawn option or simple rotating dial. Tiny time segments must be lifted out to set the time making it very tedious and prone to inaccurate settings! I intend to return mine!

1 Year warranty - died at 13 months.
Considering I only use this for Christmas lights and it's not even kept outside but is kept inside my dry garage with an extension cord going to the lights outside, there's really no reason that this "heavy duty" timer should have died halfway through it's second short season of usage. Purchased on 11/28/2021; died on 12/22/2022. This timer was used for all of about 5 weeks total between last Christmas and this Christmas combined; what a disappointing device and a waste of money.

Awesome Electrical Device
This is an awesome electrical device. Used it to turn on and off the house lights for Christmas. Saved me a lot of worry over the holidays. Set it once and forget about it.
Works as advertised. I now have two of these, and would recommend them for all to use.

I bought this because it was the least expensive of...
I bought this because it was the least expensive of outdoor timers and I have indoor Defiant timers which are excellent. The good: It works.
The bad: no side on/timer switch to easily test the lights, then set the timer. Also, the buttons are very small. I have to use a small screwdriver to "lift" the buttons up.
I would not recommend this timer :( switch.
