it stopped working batteries and died. Change the batteries it’s still not working.
Yet to be determined on whether somebody can figure out this mess

Hi Just me, if you changed the batteries and its still not working it could be the battery terminals. Just make sure those terminals are as clean as possible and try pushing/twisting the batteries while they are in the terminals. Hi android, This lock should have come with an installation guide as well as programming instructions. If you need those instructions they can also be found on the Home Depot website under the products page. A pretty good, easy install. The main challenge was installing it on an older door where it doesn't really line up well - I have to pull the door while pressing the lock button for it to lock.
