I installed it on the wall. Works well thus far. Much quieter than the one it replaced.

Good quality and design. Very happy with the noise level.

Pros: This is an energy-efficient fan and it is quiet. It was as easy to install as any other bathroom fan. Cons: This replaced an old 80 cfm Broan fan but I don't think it is any better at removing steam from a shower than the Broan. This is because the DeltaBreez fan is harder to keep clean. The fan cage is not removable from the motor so you can't just rinse it in a sink the way you can totally clean a Broan fan. A vacuum can't remove the dust that builds up on the blades.

The exhaust flap has huge gaps. Air will constantly leak.

Attached you will see that the reason they are using a pasted over photo, which I wondered about on all the listings selling this. It is because the lamp does not cover the giant hole for the vent!! You see it everywhere except standing under it. Now I have to hire people to try to do something about covering part of it -- but that reduces the point of the vent! Poorly designed, lamp itself ooks great, but the gaping hole is ridiculous.

During installation I noticed that the exhaust baffle does not close completely. There is a gap designed into it. The gap is about 1/4" around the bottom, and much larger on the top. This certainly will not prevent drafts in the bathroom during cold WI winters! Poor design! I called customer support to see if it was the wrong part and all they could say is "No, I think that's the way it's supposed to be. The metal ones do a bit better.". Not helpful.

The light is bright. I was replacing a recessed lighting fixture and was worried the light wouldn’t be bright enough - as if I was in a run down motel or sketchy alley. It’s definitely as bright as the recessed lighting fixture I replaced. I’m happy with the brightness. The fan adequately vents my 65 square foot bathroom of moisture and stink. My mirrors don’t fog up anymore. After a 15 foot run of semi-rigid duct (6ft) and PVC pipe (9ft), the fan is strong enough to easily open the gable wall vent flap. Highly recommend.

Fan was easy to install; ruggedly built and very quiet in operation. Plug-in light and fan wiring is a nice feature.

Soo quiet that no body noticed I'm done installing it and its running or working.

This exhaust fan is no good because it leaks cold air into the bathroom. To keep from shivering while in the bathroom, I had to tape a bubble envelope over it and tell my wife not to use it. Guess I was wrong in following advice to replace the old fan to keep this exact same thing from happening!

Quiet. But it is not white by any stretch of the imagination. I will have to paint them. I bought 2. One is in the powder room, the other waiting to be installed. Have no idea how well it works yet. Have yet to touch up the paint around the hole. My ceilings are white-white.

Nice fan. Easy to install. Seems to work well. I would have given it a 5 star rating, but I am a little disappointed that it is not more quiet. It’s more quiet then most fans, but I expected to hardly be able to hear it, which is not the case.

Purchased this fan for a basement bathroom construction. I needed to add rails to the housing to fit it between a suspended ceiling. The end result looks very clean and the fan is very quiet. It takes about 3 seconds for the fan to reach full speed so when you first power it on you wonder if its working. And it is fairly quiet.

We have had this bathroom fan now for eight months. I do like it. It is very quiet. Sometimes I forget it’s still on. We have a very small bathroom with a shower. It works well. I do wish the fan was a little bit stronger because there is still some condensation on the bathroom mirror. I guess I coUld have gotten a more powerful fan but for the small size of our room I thought this would be fine. We try to have a window open as well as having the fan on when we shower. The light is very nice. It is not too bright or to dim. It is a nice soft yellow color. I hired a handy man to install it and he didn’t have any problems installing it.

Excellent product. Love the dehumidifing feature. Extremely quiet.

Easy to install (as per my contractor), very quiet (so quite that my wife was worried it's off) and does the job it's supposed to. Will buy again.

This fan is easy to install. When it is running it is very quiet. It is also very powerful and can take all the steam out of the bathroom while I shower so that my mirrors are not fogged. The only disappointing aspect is the very cheap flimsy plastic cover. Thankfully I don’t look at the ceiling much so I don’t notice.

Light/fan was easy to install in existing construction. Fan is extremley quite and the led light is brighter than expected.

Not so quiet quiet but it is bearable. You can still turn it on even during your sleep walk (nature call) and can go back to bed without waking your body system up. (I should have said it in my language for more accurate words :)

Purchased this Delta Breez exhaust fan for use in my newly renovated master bathroom. Wanted a product that was quiet and moved a lot of shower steam. Have had this in use for about two months and I'm very satisfied. The electrician who installed it did have to make some adjustments to my ceiling and attic supports to accommodate this larger unit. The LED light is very bright and in hindsight I wish I had taken the electrician's offer of splitting the light and fan into two switches so that I could have used a dimmer on the light. I'm planning to purchase a second unit to replace the current model in our other bathroom.

This fan was a breeze to install. It runs quite and my customers are very happy with it.

Love how quiet this Fan is..I have a 70SqFt bathroom, so I thought the 80cfm fan would be adequate..however this struggles to get rid of the moisture without fogging the windows and mirror.. Id like to take it out and return it for a bigger cfm fan...

I purchased this unit for a 500sqft bathroom and its just not strong enough. We have a window in the restroom and been having problems with water build up on the walls and ceiling. After installing this fan I still have to have the window cracked slightly to stop the water build up. If the window is closed and I'm just running the fan it isn't strong or fast enough to remove the moisture in the air. I suggest getting the largest fan you can afford to do the job. For the price I paid it's affective but not ideal.

Just wanted to say that this is much better than the old exhaust fans that i had! Wow quite a difference! From 1977 when house was made to today technology of 2018 ...much quite fan! So anyway, I Purchased 2 of this exhausts fans for my upstairs bathrooms. My home does not have an attic access because of the high ceilings!. I was able to install both exhaust fans from within my bathroom. Lot of people ask if the case and fan can be taken apart! and YES you can! the fan holds with 3 screws to the case and then you unplug the electrical plug and also un-screw the led small cable from the case wall, then you pull it out. My master bathroom was 8 x 8 , so i only need it to shave the ceiling a little to fit the case in! The other bathroom was 6 x 6 and had to cut a little witch is no big deal. The install should be like this: Take old fan out, Unpack new fan, take fan out from the metal case, cut the right size of the case on your ceiling, This exhaust fan is 4 inch, so if you have a three inch hose coming from your attic you will need to buy 4 inch to 3 inch reducer , item number: Model # R4X3 Internet #100149942 Store SKU #148814 Store SO SKU #1000684915, so you install the reducer with duck tape, then you put the electrical cable into the box (make sure power is off at the exhaust fan) , and once the cable is into the box, put the connection hose to the metal case and then you push the box up to make it level with the ceiling, you may have to put it into an angle till you are in attic then you set it flash to the ceiling, and after you must tight the metal box to the 2x6 wood or other frame that you may have. Then check to make sure the air duct is okay and not moved, then move to electrical and connect the wires, install the fan back into the case! put screws in and turn them a little , they will stay there and once is up you can hold the fan and with other hand with philips driver lock them up!, connect the electrical plug and the led small cable , test fan, put cover and your done!. Just a say, this is a 0.8 zones, if you want better much quiter better get panasonic 0.2 zones witch is over $100, about $130. For now this is okay for me. Thanks.

I selected this fan because of the size. I replaced an old fan that was installed from the attic when the house was built. Since I no longer have access from above, I had some difficulty removing the old fan from the room side through a 9” opening. This required some cutting and bending since it was nailed to the joist. The new fan was easy to install through the original 9” room side opening and because the new box is ½” smaller, I was able to screw it to the joist from below and the new grill completely covered the old opening. Even though my main concern was size, I am very pleased with the fan which is very quiet and efficient and the LED light is a big improvement over the old incandescent. A great improvement to the bathroom and now time to replace the second one.

This is a really great product it's high-volume fan is super quiet and the LED light is is just great in our bathroom.

Works great. Installation was a little tricky only because I did not have access to attic to replace the existing fan. It is very quiet and efficient. The LED light is very bright. A great improvement to the bathroom.

Easy to install, quiet, good light And most important aesthetically pleasing. I had installed a newtone but with the grill projecting down 21/4" it looked awful.
