Really disappointed in this Champagne Bronze shower fixture. Only 2 showers in and the gorgeous finish is completely worn off and is now dull and looks like aged brass. The clearly visible water spots are also an issue. We have county water, not well water and have no issues in our other bathroom with nickel fixtures. At this price point (quite expensive) I would've expected much better quality. SOOO disappointed. I would NOT recommend.

If you are the only person to use your shower then this kit is really nice. You can just shut off the water flow without disturbing the water temperature that you like to keep it on. The only downside is that the shower head only has one spray setting where I usually enjoy multiple. It includes a full body spray setting which is about a medium flow rate. You do have to purchase a separate valve, but if your previous model was also a delta, there is a good chance this might work with it without any alterations. I took off some points for installation because there are a lot of small parts and the instructions are not good.

Wow. This shower trim (Shower head and Faucet) takes the cake. The misses enjoys the temperature setting that allows the water temperature to be just perfect every time we take a shower. The process to replace the shower trim does take some time so unless you are comfortable doing the roughly with the suggested valve, stay away early DIYers or hire a professional plumber to assist with roughly. Also, this should be done with a remodel unless you have access to plumbing wall and can work comfortably in the back.

This dual handle shower control has a beautiful chrome plated finish – I did a dry fit of all the components including the R10000-UNBX rough-in body and everything meshed together well - I have not yet completed the installation so I cannot describe the features of the shower head. Most of the chrome plated parts are made of metal with only the shower head (plumbing connection is metal) and temperature control handle made of plastic (see photos). The escutcheon plate provides a weep hole at the bottom to allow any stray water to escape (see photo). The installation instructions are detailed, but not as clear as they could be – this is a “universal” set of instructions for the entire Delta 17 series. None of the images are specifically for this model – as a matter of fact - page 10 – which should show the components, does not apply to this model.

I purchase three Delta Dryden Monitor 17 Series shower trims in stainless from Ferguson's and all three shower heads will not seal when threaded onto the neck pipe, even when utilizing TFE tape. I hired a Pumper to see if he could seal the shower heads and he was unable. We measure the inside diameter of the shower head threads with a micrometer and they measured 18.5 to 19 mm. We also notice that when the shower head connector is thread to the neck pipe, the shower head connector experienced plastic deformation (we utilized two wraps of PTFE). This should not be occurring and is a sign of a material defect. I will be filling a claim with both Ferguson and Delta. Please note, I previously purchased a Delta Dryden Monitor 17 Series shower trim in stainless from Ferguson's and the shower head when threaded to the neck pipe sealed with only one wrap of TFE tape.

Some parts were plastic and others metal. I returned it not for that reason but because I found a similar look delta kit that also has a 3 setting diverted built in so I wouldn’t need to install a separate one.

I love the square shower head and square backplate on the controls, it instantly looks a little more refined and expensive just because it’s different. The finish on the fixture is really nice too.

The streams of water that come out of the shower head are perfect size and it feels amazing! I have always and will always trust Delta Brand.

This is my second time installing a Delta trim kit (second valve as well, which are sold separately and with many choices at a reasonable cost). This faucet was installed in a brand new Delta UPstile (reviewed separately) bath and surround and replaced a mobile home style faucet/diverter. Though this is sold as a shower trim kit I bought the tub spout and a bath/shower valve in order to install it in a shower. Install - Installation of the trim kit was straight forward once the valve and surround was installed. As I did last time I left the valve under pressure for two days with a blank off and shower head plug installed to be sure there were no leaks at the new PEX fittings and valve connections before installing the surround. The trim kit took just a few minutes to install and looks great against the white subway tile style of the UPstile surround. Use - One of the reasons I selected this kit was due to the two handles that allows the temperature to be set and then turn the water on and off without changing the temperature settings. This is great in the hall bathroom as it is used by our kids and it makes it easier for them to turn the shower/bath on to the same temperature every time. I also like the fact I can set the max temperature to avoid them setting the water too hot. This cartridge, however, does not measure the inlet temperature so changes in the hot water supply temperature can cause the temperature to fluctuate greatly, so young children should still be supervised as usual. Overall I am very happy with this trim kit, myself with the installation, and the entire family is very happy with how it functions and looks in the brand new bath/surround!

Hot and Cold indicator sticker came off after 5-days of being installed. The nozzle and handle has a tendency to show little water spots in between cleaning, more so than I anticipated.

I absolutely love this shower head! The way the water falls completely covers my whole body. The water pressure is perfect and it is stunning with all-chrome fixtures in our bathroom! It is modern and sleek, and looks great with our newly renovated shower and contemporary fixtures. I hate staying in hotels now because I miss my shower and beautiful bathroom!

Its an incredibly beautiful faucet. What I really loved about it is the fact that the square shape and it's finish, allow it to slip into any decorator theme seamlessly. It would be right at home in a classically modern theme where bare minimalistic design flows, or a vintage farmhouse theme where it gets mixed with other finishes. We had no issues installing the faucet, we did however end up buying a different/longer extended outflow pipe because our new shower is much longer than this would allow for us to fit comfortably under the water flow without getting squashed against the shower wall too much. With the longer pipe we now get a lovely high pressurized flow of water at a perfect angle. I love knowing that the Delta name is behind the pretty parts as well.

You do not get what you pay for here. I received this online and thought, given the listed price, it would be of sturdy, long-lasting material and quality. It's mostly made of cheap, flimsy, plastic. I have only had it for a couple of weeks now, but I do not plan to keep it installed. It does maintain a good level of water pressure and does not leak which is well, but does not feel like it will hold up for a very long period of time.

Delta Dryden is an attractive shower faucet trim kit which comes in several finishes to accommodate most configurations. This set is without valve body. The set we got is in the chrome finish and is quite appealing to the eye. Once the snow melts at 11k feet will be installing and enjoying this attractive set in our smaller footprint shower which is also made by Delta. The valve body I put in during construction is a perfect mate for this set (MultiChoice Universal by Delta) and has worked well with the lesser trim kit we started out with. Really looking forward to this "drenching" shower head as opposed to the water saver in place now that feels inadequate. The valve offers a no-scald detail to keep temps within 3 degrees fahrenheit. I suggest to always use a lube( I use a pool and spa lube on rubber) when installing the cartridge as I hear many complaints of dripping valves due to this very important part of install being missed. Will update after we use it for a while. Enjoy.

Delta Dryden 1-Handle Shower Faucet Trim Kit in Chrome (Valve Not Included) I got the shower faucet trim kit to replace an existing one in my bathroom. The build quality looks decent with most parts being metal with chrome finish. Though there are a few plastic parts which I really hope will stay put for few years. The shower kit does not come with valve (search delta multichoice universal valve) which does add to the cost of the fixture. I am a plumbing novice who just got started with minor home projects. This one took me couple hours to put in. The instructions are okay but can be improved. Overall a decent kit.

I needed a new shower installation kit when I had my master bath/shower re-tiled. The Dryden kit was a perfect finishing touch to make the shower look completely remodeled. The shower head is easy to rotate so the water flows exactly where you want it to, and the stream is perfect. The handle and cover makes an easy installation as well, connecting to my 19 year old plumbing cartridge. Large and impressive, it looks great in a larger shower. The components are chrome over brass, so will last for years and years. The single lever handle is a contemporary update to the older round plastic shower control unit, easy to operate, and lets you get the temp just right before stepping into the shower. I love the look and easy of operation. The installation was simple enough for anyone to install it.
