Elevated toilet seat in white when I first open the box my initial thought was how is this going to work. Though the Heights was nice approximately 5 in is it raises to a desired height but the opening itself is way too small around 7 in by 9 in. The issue that I'm having problems with is being able to use the restroom without it being messy I'm a man and I don't see this working for a woman either one would have to get used to cleaning the seat at every use, maybe if someone was severely handicapped would not mind doing this chore but I think most folks would not like this as a maintenance. Maybe young children would be able to use this without having this type of problem. Not being an engineer I'm sure they could have designed one with an opening that was much larger to accommodate adults therefore I cannot recommend this product. But as I have always indicated that Home Depot has a wonderful return policy 30 days if one would want to try it.

Bought this product for my 86 year old elderly father. I never imagined that it would be so difficult at a certain point in life to lift yourself into a standing position after using the bathroom, but this device is very handy for people who suffer with Arthritic knees and hips. It is well designed and very sturdy. It is also very easy to clean by placing it in the tub or shower. It has two handle grips along the sides for removing it when not needed, so it is also very hygienic. It is light weight, comfortable and does seat well into either round or elongated toilet bowls. The only down side is that I see no way to secure this device. My father has a strong fear of falling and I worry that if this is not secured to the toilet, that It might slide around.

This elevated toilet seat is a lifesaver for my mother, who has had multiple strokes thruout the years. She now uses a stroke walker to walk around and this toilet seat allows her to use the toilet easily and to get up off of it without any problems. She was using a handicapped portable toilet which has the same height as this elevated seat. It allows us to give her a return to a more normal way of life at 82 yrs old. My friend in Florida has inquired about this seat because it has no straps or attachments to the toilet. All you do is take it out the box and place it on the toilet, the inside rim of the seat fits inside the rim of the toilet. You can remove when its no longer needed.

Bought this for an elongated bowl. You flip the seat lid up and just place it on the bowl. YES it definitely will move forward, back and side to side. It works great if you can keep it pressed back against the lid. Looks a little funny with the front ledge of the bowl showing, but so comfortable and easy to clean.

It doesn't fit a round bowl toilet at all. The instructions say it may not fit all toilets, sort of misleading. It is even sort of loose on some elongated toilets. Also it is for people at least 5' 7" or taller. If you meet these criteria it is probably good. Good for people who are traveling because it does not take detailed installation, as all you do is lift the toilet seat and put it in place with no tools.

UNSTABLE AND UNSAFE DESIGN
Design is too unstable and unsafe for smaller adults. I am 125 pounds and originally liked the contour design, but discovered I had to always sit down VERY carefully not to fall off-balance. I already twisted my leg with this. The cutout areas on the base (below the handle grips at the top) and the overall rectangular shape create too much instability on a round bowl. There is also too much gap underneath the seat between the seat opening and the toilet bowl itself. This also contributes to the seat moving and tilting. Maybe it works better for a heavier person.

Solidly built, and the contour shape is very comfortable, but it is actually a little too high for me. I am 5'5" tall with long legs. The inner bowl is also very deep, so it does cause some splashing at times.
